Flutes_Flutists got a reaction from AlysonRoseS in Background video using embed code
Thank you for sharing that, looks like exactly what I was looking for. I notice that they say you can mute the video. Can I assume that you can also unmute the video or make the page load with video unmuted by default?

Glad this was helpful.
On the question about setting the default tag archive pages to noindex, it actually seems like Squarespace has removed that setting in 7.1, which is a shame. However I don't think it changes the approach overall — the built in tag links aren't surfaced visually for users anywhere so Google is much more likely to select your custom-built "brand" pages as the authoritative page, especially if they're linked in your navigation and from other pages on your site.
I'll reach out to SS support and see if they plan to resurface that tag noindex setting somewhere else – will update here if I get a helpful response!

Since you're focusing on trying to increase SEO and search visibility for flute brand queries, I'd suggest the following:
Create a page for each brand you want to rank for, and optimize all the usual places for SEO - make sure the SEO title, description, page title, etc all include "[BRAND NAME] Flutes".
Then at the top of the page, include a short chunk of keyword-optimized text introducing what makes that brand unique, what kind of flutes they offer, what kind of player they might be best suited for ... (I'm not a flute expert!)
Then below that introductory brand-specific copy, add a Summary block, pulling from the product collection, and filtered using the brand tag just only display that brand.
Then make sure that the default system tag archive pages are set to SEO noindex in the settings.
These custom pages with some introductory text are much more likely to rank than the system-built tag archive.
Hope this helps!
