  1. Hi tuanphan, More like what is on this architect's website, https://www.solomontroup.com.au/point-lonsdale-house I understand that my example is a page, and so they can just insert a Gallery Strip section, but hoping there is a workaround with some code to take a Gallery block and achieve the same look (ie, same height despite different aspect ratios on a row)
  2. Hi everyone, I just came across the Gallery Strip, but noticed it's only available for pages, whereas I'd love to use it on my blog posts. Is there a piece of code to replicate the look of Gallery Strip by transforming a Gallery block, blog-wide?
  3. I have a section at the top, which uses a large image on one side. However, with the section being at the top, the image stops below the site header. I am wondering if there is some code, or in-squarespace setting to have this image go into the site header, so it looks more seamless. Website is www.simpledwelling.net I've also attached a screenshot.
  4. .header-menu-nav-wrapper{ [href="/simple edition"], [href="/submissions"], [href="/advertise"], [href="/contact"] { font-size: 14px !important; line-height: 15px !important; margin-left: 15px !important; } }
  5. That has worked great! However, when I go to add [href="/simple edition"] it doesn't work. Any reason why that might be?
  6. This code worked for a while but has since stopped, and now every nav link is the same size. Is there something I need to add to the code if I shuffle my navigation around/add or remove links?
  7. I've noticed a bit of a difference between the number of form submissions for my newsletter, versus the actual growth of the mailing list. For example, in the last 30 days I've had 39 form submissions for my newsletter, but my mailing list attached to these submissions has only grown by 13. In the post submit, I have a brief message to check their inbox for a verification email. However, only have 33% of form submissions actually make it to the list, is that normal? Some insight or experience/data from others on this matter would be amazing to read.
  8. For context, I moved my email mailing list from Mailchimp to Squarespace back in 2020. Since then I haven't thought too much about the numbers, but today I took notice of something. I have some major differences in numbers, and hoping someone could help clear things up, maybe tidy it up so they're even, or even let me know that it's normal. Profiles All - 974 Subscribers - 878 Mailing list - 752 I don't have multiple lists to sign up for, and if anyone fills out a sign-up, it's for the mailing list. Yet, there is a 222 difference between my mailing list and the profiles. What's going on here?
  9. I want to change specific items, such as 'Submission', 'Create for Simple Dwelling', 'Advertise' and 'Contact'. I want to make these navigation items smaller, for both desktop and mobile.
  10. Hi all, I remember in the old Squarespace you had Primary and Secondary navigation, and the secondary navigation font size would be independent of the primary. I was wondering if it's possible to target particular pages in the navigation bar and adjust the font size? Bonus points for being able to also adjust the padding of those pages in the navigation to create an indent. My website is https://www.simpledwelling.net and I've coded my desktop navigation to use mobile.
  11. Hi Tuanphan, Yes please, still looking to add padding to the right-side of the blog collections page.
  12. Wanting to bump this call for help with coding in some padding to only the Blog collection page on my website. While the example has padding on the left, I'd want to add sizeable padding to the right side of my page. I don't necessarily need the 'sticky element' to site next to the collection anymore.
  13. Hi, I just noticed there is 'Pinterest' plain text showing up in the top-left corner of my website, http://www.simpledwelling.net. I can't seem to remove it by disconnecting Pinterest from my site, so I'm wondering if there is some coding or something to remove it?
  14. Hi, I'm collaborating with a ceramist where we plan on releasing a dinnerware set. The idea is we will split profits depending on whether the sale comes from their audience (website, Instagram, email) or mine (YouTube, Instagram, website, email). The store will be on my site. I am wondering if there is any backend analytics that can tell me where a sale comes from, without the customer inputting any codes? It'd need to be somewhat detailed, eg, not just 'Instagram' being the source, but whether it was their Instagram or mine. If there isn't such detail, do you have any suggestions using external website trackers, etc?
  15. I don't think I'd be able to add a text like the website I showed, however if there is a way, I'd love to know. I'm pretty sure I'm running the latest version.
  16. Site URL: http://www.simpledwelling.net Hi everyone, I'm looking to spruce up my website, and wanting to add some padding to the left of my Blog collection page, similar to what https://softervolumes.com/ has done to their 'Latest' section. I don't want to the padding to be site wide, nor apply to actual blog posts, just the desktop version of the Blog collection page. Can anyone help with some code?
  17. The code does a great job at removing the active blog post, however I have a setup where I have a summary block that displays three posts at the bottom of each post. What that code does is removes the active post, but doesn't replace it with the next post, so I'm left with two posts displayed. While I could make it so four posts are displayed, there will be blog posts where the active post won't be visible in the summary block at the bottom. Here is a page of an example; https://thedesignemotive.com/episodes/homes/a-house-for-all-seasons-polystudio
  18. This helped me, it solved a rather annoying problem I created for myself, so thank you!
  19. Site URL: https://www.thedesignemotive.com Hi everyone, I came across a website and love the layout of their homepage and wanting to replicate it of sorts for my own site, www.thedesignemotive.com. The website I'm referring to is https://minimalissimo.com/ What I love about it is the three-column layout but with differing aspect ratios of the thumbnail, but then they are lined up through an invisible centreline for each row. I know this is a long stretch but would it be possible to achieve something similar using code?
