I solved the problem by making a new page using the old layout engine. Thank you to the expert who posted the tip on how to add a section with the old style template (I didn't realize it was even possible). When you go to select a template, scroll to the bottom and read the fine print.

Yeah I do think you would need code to do this @AdamR-NC ....Default padding makes sense for keeping pages responsive across devices.
