  1. I solved the problem by making a new page using the old layout engine. Thank you to the expert who posted the tip on how to add a section with the old style template (I didn't realize it was even possible). When you go to select a template, scroll to the bottom and read the fine print.
  2. I added some more CSS and now it is broken in Chrome too - there's a lot of whitespace below the code block. The CSS I added (for the whole site) is: a:link, a:visited { color: #0F86FD; text-decoration: none; } a:hover, a:active { background-color: white; }
  3. In the new layout system, code blocks seem to cause unwanted white space after the block. Scroll to the bottom of my page: https://www.bettermonroe.org/ It contains a long code block. It looks fine on Chrome. But on Firefox and Safari, there is a large amount of whitespace between the end of the page and the footer. The only custom CSS I have is: p { line-height: 1.5em; } .form-wrapper input[type=submit]:hover { background: #0FE1FD; } I don't have a subscription that enables custom CSS on each page. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? Thank you!
  4. Site URL: https://monroe-dems.squarespace.com When I add an image to a list item (which I have displayed as a carousel on the front page), I don't see a way to add a URL and make the image clickable. Am I missing something, or is there a workaround? I'm using the carousel view but I assume it would apply to the other views as well.
  5. I was wondering why the /search functionality doesn't work in my Squarespace 7.1 website (or only for some words and not others) and came upon this post. So is Search going to be fixed?
  6. I scrolled up and see you've provided a solution already. It works! Phenomenal -- thank you! I'll have another (different) request / question soon, I'm sure 🙂
  7. I just got back from vacation recently and was glad to see your response. I think the preferred behavior is that the auto-scroll stops indefinitely, until the page is refreshed or reloaded in the browser. And the manual scroll (clicking on forward and back arrows) would not be affected either way (it would still work as usual).
  8. Ok and my next question is, is there a way for the viewer to stop the scrolling action? For example if they click on the "back" arrow to go back one item, they probably don't want it to keep moving again. Or if they clicked anywhere in the list item (over any text that didn't have any link already)
  9. I only had to make a small tweak to the code to get it to work – I changed .user-items-list-banner-slideshow__arrow-button--right to .user-items-list-carousel__arrow-button--right Awesome, thank you!!!
  10. Site URL: https://monroe-dems.squarespace.com/ Is there a way for the list items (in gallery view) to autoscroll, that is, to rotate automatically, as if somebody was clicking the "next" arrow?
