Images added with code block spontaneously deleted

SquareSpace in their infinite wisdom will delete "unused" images from your library. They don't recognize custom code images as being used. Having this same issue on blog posts where i use custom code to make author headshots/bio. Honestly, I'm migrating my website to WordPress soon. There are so many aggravating and unsolvable issues such as this one with SS that should not exist on a professional web platform. Image management is a basic feature. -
I am echoing my frustrations as well. This is such a basic web building feature. We are switching to WordPress for our 15 sites later this year and the lack of basic web editing features is a major reason why. Sub-folder menu navigation is a BASIC feature.
