Well this is embarrassing. I've made so many sites over the years on SS. This time I did Fluid engine and literally just sold my boss and the dev team on this. Made a beautiful page and then go to design for mobile. BAM that is when the nightmare begins.

I don't even know where to start to rectify this. It should not be this hard to adjust for mobile. I wish they would let us change font sizes, alignment etc. without letting one affect the other. It's supposed to be that way, but it's obviously not.

Also everything on mobile is skewing to the right? If I center it, it doesn't work and then jacks up desktop formatting. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I agree it's terrible. Why do I have to make separate designs for desktop and mobile? Mobile version is terrible, never looks as intended. I don't want to move boxes all day like a warehouse employee. I bought Squarespace for my website because ut was simple, looked great. Now it's more clunky than Wordpress that I hate with passion. 

I am floored this isn't in the "new" rollout. Totally speechless.

Do we have any updates on the automatic sales tax collection and remittance from TaxJar/Stripe/Squarespace? I'm hoping someone has tried it and it actually works by now... FINGERS CROSSED!

AGREED! We need this squarespace! Especially for those of us selling an online community.

I think it would be time for SquareSpace to incorporate some of the feedback they will have received since launching these member areas to a version 2.00 to bring them up to speed with some of the popular use cases and to keep the members areas portfolio within SquareSpace instead of letting third-parties provide that functionality.

I dont think that would be too much asking of SS that creating a private forum should be possible behind the paywall of a member area...

This cannot be removed! You cannot style the popup windows for login and sign-up, or the account panel where members manage their account.
As you'll have seen, this means that anyone can join and access the member content without being approved. I raised this - and other Member Area limitations - with Squarespace but there's no news on when or if this will change. If you're interested, you can view my list of Member Area limitations here. 

I'm really disappointed in Squarespace for not including this as standard at launch for 7.1. What are they thinking? They need to hurry up and roll this out

Check out Automatically calculate US sales tax. Not sure if this will help you immediately but there is hope for improvement in the sales tax situation.
