  1. not native to Square Space, but we use Tockify for this and embedded the calendar. it provides an option for user submitted events and you can choose whether this is something anyone can do, or only specific people. Probably too late for the site you were working on but might be useful for future reference. Example here: https://www.leithforever.org/events. ANyone who wants to submit an event can just click the button at the top right of the calendar to be taken to the form. Also, might be worth asking squarespace for this integration - I contacted them about this and their response was pretty much in line with the above but with this added on - "All that said - while we don't currently offer that feature, I would be happy to suggest it to our development team. We can't guarantee implementation of every suggestion, but customer feedback is how we continue to grow and improve our platform so we appreciate your input." The more people who ask the more likely it is to happen....
  2. We are considering adding a member area to our site, mostly for networking and sharing purposes. From looking at the help pages I know that sqaurespace does not have an integrated forum feature, which we would ideally have as part of this. I am already doubtful that squarespace can do the other part of what we want, but thought I would ask here in case any one is aware of a solution! Is there a way: to automatically create a members profile page that can be viewed by other members - literally a picture, a couple of sentences of blurb, a couple of tags for search purposes and contact details. for members to share updates - e.g. a blog page attached to a member profile where they can share things updates about projects they are working on and ask for feedback/help/collaboration etc.? add a shared members calendar so members can pencil in potential dates for events/activities so they can see what each other are planning and either collaborate on events, or choose alternative dates if someone else is already planning something at the same time? Any assistance on this would be much appreciated.
  3. Site URL: https://www.leithforever.org Is it possible to add a form for others to submit events, and for these to be set as "Needs Review"? I am looking to set up a community events calendar where local groups and organisations can share their events on our website, but we still want to be able to review each event before it is made public to make sure it is local, and complies with our event criteria. We have thought about having a form with the same fields, and just copying and pasting, but this seems very labour intensive. It would be much easier if the local group could fill in a form which automatically creates an event for review, which we can then just publish after checking over.
  4. Site URL: https://www.leithforever.org/shop Hi, I have created a list of links to external community websites, at the moment I have just added these as buttons (Scroll down to the 'Support the Leith Community' section in the above link). However, this is not very visually engaging. I was wondering if there is a way to automatically pull the web data that would appear in a web search - e.g. Thumbnail image and site description have this display when I add a link? This would save me having to manually add this information if we decided to do so, and mean it would update if the third party organisation updated their information. Any help appreciated! Barbara
