  2. I have moved the domain to the new site.
  3. Thank you for the advice. Now here is where I ask a rather silly question. In which of the two sites should I add the redirect to? The new one or the old version?
  4. Hello... I am looking for a little guidance please. I am designing a new site within squarespace and I am migrating content from another squarespace site. The URL's will change. I send out a weekly newsletter and this will go today and our new site will launch on Monday. I would like our newsletter to link to our articles throughout next week and wondered what would be the best way to go about this? Do we do 301 redirects? If we Archive and unpublish the current site, how can I ensure my articles can still be accessed. The domain will remain the same but some URL's will be different. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Graham

  6. Hi, I am looking for some help with adding an Elfsight search widget in to the Nav Bar on our site. Currently it's position is fixed but it doesn't interact with other elements making it non responsive on other smaller screen sizes. Can anyone help at all? Thank you!
  7. Hi, I hope someone can help. I have created a row flip cards acting as an about us section with the front being an image and the back telling us a little bit about the person and it hosts the social icons and contact details etc. The trouble I seem to be having is when I get to different screen sizes it all goes a bit wonky until we get to mobile view. I have some knowledge in html and CSS but really struggle with understanding how to make it responsive so that it works on all screen sizes. I wonder if someone would be able to help find the solution to it. The scree sizes that this works is: 2560 x 1440 1920 x 1080 1680 x 1050 I start running into trouble from screen width 1440 till about 768... here is the link: https://www.cps.scot/home-test Password: cps-test-2023 Thank you in advance.
  8. Hi @Ziggy, Thank you for the reply. I have set the margin to the left at 1% as it cuts off when I don't. I would like to keep the background colours etc... Is there a way of keeping the stylings now without it cutting off?
  9. Site URL: https://www.cps.scot Hello everyone, I wondered if anyone could help. I have introduced some carousels to to our homepage so that we can display the latest news and I am finding that the when we hit the arrow to display the next five articles the first article cuts off slightly and as we move through the series of reels the cut deepens. I believe this is because of the translateX property moving from 0% to -101% then -202% and so on. So my question is, can we change the translateX property? Any insight would be incredible and I thank you in advance. The Web address is https://www.cps.scot

  11. Site URL: https://www.cps.scot I have designed a homepage where I have: Summary grid (sqs-col-4) | Column of four Buttons using code-blocks (sqs-col-4) | Column of four Buttons using code-blocks (sqs-col-4) When it get's to mobile, squarespace does an excellent job of optimizing this all that had to be done is touch up the margins using a media query. The problem is that I can't find a way to optimise it for Tablets. I am hoping that I can place the two columns of code blocks to sit underneath the summary grid. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

  17. Unfortunately I can't send the link as the page is set to private as it's in development. I have attached images of the home page. for the tablet version i have used the following code.... [data-section-id="60a633de1a74bd0fe53f79e1"] { @media screen and (max-width: 1366px) and (min-width: 768px ) { .sqs-row {display: flex; flex-direction: column;} .summary-v2-block {width:515px!important;} .code-block {width: 270px; padding: none; margin-top: none; display: inline-block; } .sws-col-3 {display: inline-flex!important;} } } Most of that code is me trying different things to try and make it work. What i am trying to do is to make the 8 code blocks which sit nicely to the right of the carousel to fall underneath in two columns on tablet.

  19. I am using an image card wrapper template which looks great on desktop but when we get down to mobile the text content is far too long and stretches the wrapper which makes it a difficult experience for the end user. I wondered if there was a way to target these particular blocks that allowed me to reduce the number of characters contained within the text block so that it doesn't stretch the wrapper. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much.
