  1. The mobile app blog editor constantly gets stripped every time it’s updated. The inability to add links is crazy. Next it’ll be images too. What will be the point in having a mobile blog editor then? I’m honestly thinking the idea is to phase out the entire thing soon, unfortunately. I chose this platform for ease of use. It has been one struggle after another as they continue to take away the convenience factor. 🤷🏾‍♀️

  2. This is happening on my site as well…in 2023. The posts here make me feel like contacting squarespace will likely not help. Did anyone find a fix that will not require additional payment? I already pay squarespace. It would be nice if they fixed it or reduced their price for the inconvenience.

I have a portfolio page on my site that will not show unless I scroll down 4 or 5 times...only then will the page start populating. There isn't anything more different about the images on the page than any other page-blog, shop, etc. It just won't load the image covers. I am not sure how to fix it. I feel like when someone goes to the page, they will see nothing and not really think I have anything there. Does anyone here have any ideas to fix it? Thanks in advance.

I'm confused why this is just a standard feature...

    Exactly.

I just paid quite a bit to renew my site and only just realized it wasn't part of the package. I was blogging and never thought anything of it because that's always just been standard for any blogging platform. I have the choice now after an entire year of posting to add comments which will all read Comments (0) or nothing at all. I'd rather simple likes since it's a low cost for any visitor or reader to invest in your post until they're comfortable enough to comment. Large price tag and I can't even get simple features I'd have on a free blog.

It's unacceptable and it makes me want to tell folks to steer clear of Squarespace 7.1. I wish I had.
