  1. Have you managed to resolve the issue? I agree, without Stripe, it is hard to run an online business in NZ. What's worked for me has been to stop feeding the automatic process at the bottom - the more information I gave them, the more I was going round in circles. The solution has been to just disagree with their decision and ask for management to review the decision.
  2. Thank you @paul2009! After 9 days of sticking to my guns and requesting that the issue be escalated, Stripe finally agreed that I don't offer "Predatory Mortgage Consulting". Phew, it's been a stressful time! I'll still need to set up payment alternatives for the next time they make this sort of erratic, cookie-cutter decisions. I'll investigate your solutions with Ecwid and Shopify. Thanks a million! It would still be awesome though if Squarespace could offer other payment options as the lack of choice leaves some users quite vulnerable.
  3. Are you planning on offering alternative payment systems to Stripe and PayPal anytime soon? For some obscure reason that I don't even understand, Stripe just decided that they won't support my business anymore. They seem to think that my business is on their Restricted Businesses list (when it isn't even close to anything on there). See Trustpilot reviews about Stripe - it is a recurring theme at the moment. New Zealand consumers are not familiar with using PayPal and this will be a barrier to my business. Bottomline - I'll need to find an alternative payment option and I'll need to move away from Squarespace if I can't find a payment system here.
  4. Thanks for your patience @bangank36, it took me a while to figure out where to add the code but it now works! Hugely appreciated 😀
  5. Hi @bangank36 thanks for checking, I do still need help! What you can see on my website currently is the temporary fix I mentioned in my original post. I haven't found a way to change the text colour of the buttons, so I've changed the background colour. But it doesn't sit well with the overall design and I still don't know how to fix the text colour getting overwritten.
  6. Site URL: https://www.themoneyjourney.co.nz/plans Hello community, When I initially created my website, I injected a code block in my store to better showcase my services (the standard templates focus on products but didn't fit my service business). Everything worked well for a year. This week however, I noticed that buttons in my store are no longer legible. The code that dictates text colour is being overwritten to the same colour as the background. I've found a temporary fix to make it legible. However, I would like to understand how to fix it in the long run. Are you guys able to help please? Thanks a million! 7. Great suggestion @creedon. This works beautifully, thank you! Most of my clients would only purchase one product anyway. Worst-case scenario, it's just a box to tick, so not hugely invasive. Thanks for the help 🙂
  8. Site URL: https://www.themoneyjourney.co.nz/ Hi there, I've created a Custom Checkout Form under Commerce > Checkout > Additional Fields to display my Disclosure Statement which is a mandatory in my industry. It seems to work well on Desktop. However, it appears twice on Mobile and I can't figure out why/how to fix it. The Disclosure Statement is (as you'll probably guess) quite chunky and legal-heavy so I'm not keen to inflict this twice on my clients. I've tried to disable it and re-enable it, as well as reset the Additional Info field in each product but nothing worked - Disclosure Statement still appears twice. Any ideas how I can solve this? Below are screenshots of the mobile experience: Order summary Checkout Disclosure Statement should only appear in the second screenshot. Thanks a million! Christel
  9. I second this @shirazdaryan, @RoryFTC and @MindReflection. Awful experience for NZ consumers too. We really need a fix from Squarespace.
  10. Site URL: https://www.themoneyjourney.co.nz/ Hello community, Over the weekend, I upgraded my financial services website from just a 'get in touch' functionality to a proper store. A requirement for financial services providers here in New Zealand is to provide a Disclosure Statement to clients when they sign up for financial advice. My Disclosure Statement is available in my footer across the website. However, I would like to prompt clients to read it and agree to it as part of the checkout process. Unfortunately, the Squarespace checkout has only got set fields for Return Policy, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Is there any way I can customise those to replace with another type of document, namely my Disclosure Statement? Otherwise, I tentatively added an Additional Field below. I've been able to insert a hyperlink into the Custom Checkout Form, but it doesn't work on the live website. Thanks a million! Christel
  11. Thanks Simon for sharing! Hey community, I am after a similar solution that would work for checkout. NZ website visitors would expect the address field to autocomplete once they start typing in their street. That's how all local websites work. I've set up 'Default Country' for my checkout as New Zealand, however addresses are still worldwide, which makes it really hard to find a NZ address (see below screenshot). From my research online, there doesn't seem to be a solution at this stage. I believe that Squarespace doesn't support this functionality at checkout. My website is https://www.themoneyjourney.co.nz/ and the URL for my cart is https://secure.squarespace.com/checkout?cartToken=kIWy26eQbOKh0czHSY2LztyiJprWS_rrHuk9oJnx&websiteId=6068e85dda18085693dc81b6 Thanks a million!
