  1. It depends on where you want the text to display, but try this😊 <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.0/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(document).ready(function() { $('.sqs-cart-container').after('<div class="tuan"> By continuing to checkout, you have<br/>read and agreed to our <strong><a style="color: #7a6e65;" href="https://frillup.ch/terms-and-conditions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Terms and Conditions</a></strong></div>'); }); </script> <style> .tuan { display: block; height: auto; text-align: left; color: #FFFFFF; background-color: transparent; font-size: 1.1rem; line-height: 1.5em; margin-top: -82px; margin-bottom: 300px; } </style>
  2. It is possible, but you'll have to use custom css😊 Add it in Design > Custom CSS. Change link spacing (change the value to your liking): .header-nav .header-nav-item--folder .header-nav-folder-content .header-nav-folder-item { line-height: 2 !important; } Change sub-menu color (change color to your liking): .header-nav-folder-content { background: #febf00 !important; } If you don't want to use custom code: I'm currently working on a plugin where you can change above very easily (without coding). If you are interested, you can read more about it here: sparkplugin.com 😃
  3. A better approach might be to send them an email first describing gdpr and then asking ”if you dont want to recieve any more mails, reply to this email”? Then you dont have to deal with techy stuff. And you will definateley keep more of the users in the email list😊
  4. Adding image caption is enough😊 @thesimpleexplorer even hidden image captions will be added as alt-text in Squarespace.
  5. Good explanation from @GlynMusica. Getting traffic from Google is hard and takes time. Just one thing I can add: Since you are new, focus on optimizing your homepage with phrases. The homepage has a much higher chance to rank high. I managed to get on top 10 with my websites homepage, but only top 100 with the same strategies on other pages. Good luck!😃
  6. 1. Add this to ”Custom CSS”: .disable-select { -webkit-touch-callout: none; user-select: none; } 2. Add this class to the embed code (iframe tag), should look something like this: <iframe class=”disable-select”> Let me know if it works😊
  7. Nice website @monocle.jasmin! I don't have any specific improvement to be honest so I will just tell you what I like 😉 Full-width looks great on your website. Nice mix between text and images in the beginning of the website. I like how everything animates and fades in.
  8. Good job making your website, I think it looks professional and the structure is good😃 Regarding how welcoming it feels, I think there are some improvements to make. My first impression were more hard/professional than warm/welcoming. Here is what you can do: Change the font to something softer. No sharp edges on the font, maybe a more "written" type of font? Change the hero (start) image on the homepage. Yes it has nice hearts, but my first impression of it was kind of hard. Use a photo with some warmer colors like brown or beige. Change your main colors from grey to brown and beige. Or some else warm colors that you like. I hope this is helpful, good luck with your counselling!
  9. I like the look and feel of your website. The structure is good too😊 Regarding improvements - having very wide text boxes is bad for design and readability (for example under "What people say"). This is easy to fix: Change the content width to S or M. Or drag a spacer item on either side of the text. Let me know if you have any problems fixing it👍
  10. Good job with your website! An improvement would be to give more information on your homepage. What I would do: Take the information from "Who am I" and add it to the homepage. Make the text "Andre Soares. Author. Screenwriter. Stage & Film Actor." bigger like a heading. Good luck👍
  11. I have found using a live chat is a great way to connect with your customers. There are so many things I have learned just by chatting with my customers. Most of them are very nice and tend to give you useful information if you ask them😊 The tool I use for live chat is Helpcrunch.
  12. I am not entirely sure what you want to do, but if you want to host your PWA on Squarespace, I'm afraid that it isn't possible😕 This is what I do with my application: My app is hosted on Sitegrounds as a subdomain - app.sparkplugin.com. My website is hosted on Squarespace on the main domain - sparkplugin.com. I use some DNS records for this to work.
  13. The standard (free) way to do this in Squarespace is to have the navigation on the top. I'm afraid you need the business plan and a plugin to do this, for example this: https://www.sqspthemes.com/plugins/sidebar-plugin
  14. My first impressions were great and design-wise I think it looks nice😀 Here are two improvements: Decrease the image height on the homepage. Can you add more content to the homepage? If you can't come up with more content, I would move the "About Us" and "What we accept" to the homepage (so you have all content on the homepage). I think your visitors are more likely to read all the information if you do so.
  15. Blogs is much more than just writing. I wish I read more about marketing before starting my first blog. Specifically these two things: SEO - What phrases to use, how to structure the blog posts, etc. There are lots of information on this is you search for "Best tips for blog post SEO". Sharing blog posts - Facebook groups and Reddit subreddits are great places to share your blog posts.
  16. Click "Edit" Hover over your header and click "Edit site header" Click "Colors" and choose "Transparent" There you go! 😉 Nice website btw, I like the lemon cursor.
  17. Here are some websites that I had as inspiration on my last project: Draftbit - https://draftbit.com Overflow - https://overflow.io Moov - https://www.moovlabs.com Brave Wings - https://bravewings.io Also, Awwwards is great for inspiration - https://www.awwwards.com
  18. I agree with @joequint , the photos are great, why not make them bigger? I think David Marquez did a great job with margins and full with his photos (see here). Apart from that, I think the website looks great! 🙂
  19. Good job with your website, especially for being your first one! 👌 Two improvements: Replace your instagram feed with actual products from your shop. Visitors are on your website to see your products. It you add the products, you can still have the instagram feed, but make it much smaller (one row). Make the navigation bar on top more narrow (maybe half of what it is right now.
  20. I like the bright and cloudy feel of the website, and it fits well with what you sell! Also really like your photos. In terms of improvements: On "Core Collection/Seasonal Editions" on the homepage, I firstly didn't see that text, and got confused about why the images were there. A solution to this could be to place the text over the images so you know it is clickable. Also, decrease its height as they are very big on my monitor. Also, the images on the bottom, why are they there? But as I say, you did a great job!😃
  21. From my experience, Squarespace is the best choice for most websites. "Experts" usually like Wordpress due to its customization options (which is its biggest strength), and those people are often tech-savvy or have used the platform for a long time. As a developer myself I still prefer Squarespace all day, as it is so much easier to maintain a website here. In Squarespace you have one platform for everything, where in Wordpress there are installations you have to make, plugins to connect, updates to maintain and domains to connect - it takes so much more effort to maintain a Wordpress website. To conclude: If you need much customization and have knowledge in the technology - choose Wordpress. For anyone else - choose Squarespace. However, this is just my experience, would be interesting to hear what others say😊
  22. @dmarquez I think it is better now with the fixed "Contact me". Looked on mobile too and it looks good👍 I changed my mind, a simple button is probably better as you say.
  23. This looks as it should for me, tested on iPhone X and above. See here:
