  1. @hasher22 I have mixed feelings about your website, but like it for the most part! ๐Ÿ˜Š Here are some thoughts: My first impression was that the website was good-looking! Change the first image to a cake. To really show what the customer will get. Change the "About me" image to a photo of yourself. It will be more personal. Do not use black and white photos - with color look more tempting. Good luck with the launch!๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  2. @monocle.jasmin Good job with your website!๐Ÿ˜Š To be honest I dont have many improvements so Iโ€™ll just mention what I like. Iโ€™m usually not a big fan of using many colors on a website, but I think you did a good job with it. The colors look good together. The ratio between the amount of text and images are nice. Great images! Good luck!
  3. It was very fast for me. Nice website by the way๐Ÿ˜Š
  4. @Excel_Questions Good to hear! From what I know, the search algorithm automatically give home pages a higher score.
  5. I think you did a great job with it๐Ÿ˜ƒ Cant come up with any improvements more than fixing the navigation. Seems like it falls into two rows. Maybe just make the logo a bit smaller and it will be fixed?
  6. The base is good, but you can definitely do more with your start page @GeeCozy๐Ÿ˜Š What I would do is to remove the start page and use "Shop" as your first page instead. Then add a text at the top, describing your business. This will definitely increase sales.
  7. I like the look and feel of your website, you did a good job @Tiana๐Ÿ‘ Here are some improvements to make it stand out more: Do you want to reflect a soft or more hard/organized design? At the moment your fonts are a combination of both. Either change the headings to a more strict type of font or change the paragraphs to a softer one. Try to reduce the amount of different colors and decide what tone you should go for. For example - iIf you like the brownish tone - use black, brown, beige, white and a dark blue. It will make your website cohere better.
  8. Good job! I like that you are consistent with updating the website, it makes it more interesting to come back if you know there will be new blog posts/news๐Ÿ˜Š One thing to improve on: Currently you show four of the latest posts, would it be possible to show more? Or at least have a "Show more" button? The new posts are extra interesting to read as they are new. Good luck!
  9. Nice website Ellie! You managed to design a well-looking website. Very cool items you sell๐Ÿ˜Š You feel something is missing - maybe that thing might be this: Show more of your items on your first page. Like the most popular ones. Then add a "Show more" button, so that you use those few items to make the customers want to look for more. Another thing that would improve is to not have full with on the first page. The websites look great on a laptop, but on my large monitor the images gets too big because of the full width.
  10. Nice website! I agree with what @Nikolajkaps say. I understand that you optimize for speed. However, if you are promoting photography service, the image quality should be the best it possibly can. If you want to optimize for speed but keep good image quality, I would keep the high resolution, and instead use a service like compressor.io to decrease the file size. Good luck!๐Ÿ˜Š
  11. I agree with you @Jo_SQSP, using a color that stand out is the best way to go most of the time. I've done quite a few reviews on peoples websites here on the forum, and one thing that I see many websites do wrong is not using colors that resonates with what they want to communicate. For example: I want to be personal - use a warm/soft color like low-saturated beige or brown I want to show authority - use blue or black I want to stick out - use a distinct color like yellow or pink
  12. @MattK34 I must say you have a very nice looking website! Love it. The combination of great colors and imagery makes it very good๐Ÿ˜ƒ I don't see any of the lag that you talk about so can't help you with that unfortunately. Here are a few improvements to make the website even better: It would be nice to have a few more photos on every room, on the page "Rooms". "SALT-WATER POOL & HOT TUB", etc. Add some small icons here๐Ÿ˜Š
  13. I'n not sure if this is the best way to do it, but it solves your problem๐Ÿ˜Š Change "40" below to your liking. @media screen and (max-width: 800px) and (orientation: portrait) { [data-section-id="60654e74029be7381101a5ae"] { max-height: 40vh; min-height: 40vh; } }
  14. Hey @tuesdayroo, #-links don't work as normal /-links. # = go to a section (within the current page) / = go to a page This means that if you use a #-link the section needs to be on your current page. Therefore I would recommend only using #-links if you have a one page-website. However a solution for you would be to combine / (go to page) and # (go to section). For example, change your first link to: /home#whatwedo
  15. @Excel_Questions Great, sounds like you understood what I meant!๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  16. I think you did a great job with your website @d.coimbra! You check many boxes for good design. The content, colors and structure are good. ๐ŸŒŸ Here are a few (minor) things you can change to make it better: Make the start image (hero image) and "Lรซt'z Arles since 2017" background more narrow. Make the font size a bit bigger on "Discover the 2021 edition", and make the images a bit smaller there.
  17. I like the idea๐Ÿ˜Š I also think you can do much more with what you show on the first page. Instead of explaining what Excel questions is, why not just show them? What I would do is to remove most of the text on the homepage and replace it with some examples and questions. Then the visitors can jump right in to the action!
  18. Hey @BrumeuxArt! I like the art you have there, feels unique and "mystic". I also like how you choose the black background color, which fits well with your art. In terms of improving the landing page, if you "cleaning it up" a bit I think more potential customers will click over to the online store. These are some improvements: Change the blue lines to black (as background). The text "Hello and welcome..." is too wide which makes it hard to read. I would bake it much more narrow. Also you could add more spacing around it to make it more intriguing to read. Increase font sizes, especially the smallest texts. Good luck!๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  19. @Aashini oh my bad, forgot to add something. Try this: <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.0/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $(document).ready(function() { $('#sqs-cart-container').after('<div class="tuan"> By continuing to checkout, you have<br/>read and agreed to our <strong><a style="color: #7a6e65;" href="https://frillup.ch/terms-and-conditions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Terms and Conditions</a></strong></div>'); }); </script> <style> .tuan { display: block; height: auto; text-align: left; color: #FFFFFF; background-color: transparent; font-size: 1.1rem; line-height: 1.5em; margin-top: -82px; margin-bottom: 300px; } </style>
  20. If you add a new topic in "Feedback on Your Site", we can take a look at it๐Ÿ˜Š
  21. Nice website! I like the typography, it fits well with the purpose. Also, spacing and layout looks great๐Ÿ˜Š This is what I would improve: As someone else said, some of the images are very low resolution. I use Let's Enhance to increase resolution, you can try it here: https://letsenhance.io "DID YOU SEARCH โ€œPERSONAL TRAINERS NEAR MEโ€?" This text is a bit weird so I would change it to something else. Or do most of your visitors come from this search term?
