  1. Hey Rob,

Great to see fellow creatives putting their work out there! I took a look at your website and wanted to share a couple of thoughts that might help you enhance it.

    1. Typography & Space: Your site's name and tagline pack a punch with their size, which is cool, but they're also eating up a lot of prime real estate. Maybe tone down the size a bit? This way, your stunning work can take more of the stage. Plus, adding a bit more space around your text can make it easier on the eyes.
    2. Background Image: The cityscape is beautiful and sets a professional tone. However, if this is a photography site, showcasing a variety of your own work could be more impactful. Perhaps consider a carousel of your best shots that rotate? It'll give visitors an instant taste of your style and skills.
    3. Call to Action (CTA): Right now, I'm not feeling a strong urge to click further into your site. A clear CTA, like 'View Portfolio' or 'Book a Session', placed prominently on that first page, could really guide visitors to engage more with your content and services.

Hope this helps! Keep snapping and showcasing your art.

How do you usually make your website logo? Do you hire someone for this kind of project? I'm bit interested.

I made the logo by myself, but there are many professionals out there that can help you with a good looking logo.

You can go to Fiverr and browse makers there.

    Good luck!

  8. Hi @STM

Here are some things you can try:

    1. Do you use a compressed image? Compression might change the color of the image. Try to use the original version of the image if possible.
    2. Did Squarespace zoom in your image? Sometimes Squarespace zooms in on images which makes you not see the sides, especially if you use a background animation. Try to add a green border around the image.
    3. Do the image have a opacity layer over it? If so, turn it down to 0 %. Click on the section, then background tab, and fint something that says opacity overlay.

    Good luck! 🙂

  9. It depends on the style of the website. Some might for example go all in with a contrasty color palette, while some do very well with unique typography.

For me, it is smooth animations, and I try to add it as much as possible. One animated element that makes the site stand out from the rest (I think), is the animated gradient headings:
