Presumably SS just sticks the third party analytics URL in front of the path for the audio file. So if you click 'play' on the audio block, presumably it triggers a play-count with the third party analytics (Blubrry free analytics) as it'll play the file via that modified URL? Thanks all,

hi, crikey, sorry I'm not sure, but has it only happened to you the once since the downtime a few weeks ago? Perhaps it was a momentary glitch / delay in picking up the RSS?

In case anyone else stumbles across this, the problem was at Apple's end rather than the RSS / squarespace end.... I solved the problem by using an incognito window to open Podcast Connect.

I've created the RSS feed (https://jenny-young-ry38.squarespace.com/clswpodcast?format=rss) and yet when I try and submit to Apple Podcasts Connect is just times out. Has anyone else come across this, and do you know the fix? The RSS feed itself seems fine. I've run it through a few third party RSS feed validators, and they come back with green ticks. I can even manually import the show into the Apple Podcasts app with no problem - it pulls in artwork, description and the media. I also had a go at submitting to Stitcher and it submitted fine and is now there on the Stitcher site (https://www.stitcher.com/show/the-creative-life-story-work-podcast) I'm at a bit of a loss - many thanks!
