  1. Hey all, I am about 4 years into my design business, and I'm hoping to streamline my process of receiving content (specifically copy, but also visual content...) from my clients. This is specific to clients who are NOT hiring me as a copywriter, who have decided to do their copy themselves: In the past, I have worked with google docs as the space where my clients can send me all of their content. I create folders where they are responsible for dropping all images, assets, etc., and I usually do a kind of "site map" mock-up folder structure, within which I include a google doc with questions for my client to fill out. For example, if there is an about page, there would be an "about" folder, and inside there would be a google document with various prompts, like: "explain your business in one sentence" "what is the main goal of your project, in 1 paragraph or less" etc. - This is feeling clunky. I am hoping to find some kind of digital questionnaire format that could simplify this for both me and my clients. - I work with Honeybooks, and I'm wondering if anyone has used that to receive copy from their clients? - Has anyone used forms on Squarespace to do this? How? - Do you give your clients access to the working site, and have them put content directly into Squarespace pages, and then edit them to be visually pleasing? (this sounds terrifying to me, but I've wondered if it could work.) I hope this is clear. Please send any ideas my way - I would be happy to pay for an additional service if it really helped out the workflow! I am tired of clients being confused, and me ending up doing way more work (or just writing the copy myself) because the system is so non-intuitive. 🙂
