  1. Thanks Derrick. That's the best we came up with too, but it's still so much more work. We have to drag to the desktop, then drag it back to squarespace. Then go back to the original image in wordpress and right-click > copy link. Then go back to squarespace and click on the image, click edit, and paste the link in. And after awhile all the images on your desktop become a mess and you have to delete them. And you have less screen real-estate because you have to have your desktop showing. I get it doesn't sound like a ton but when you are talking about thousands of images, it is so much more work. Before we just dragged the image from on screen to another. What took 2 seconds takes 20 seconds. Anyone know if SS is planning to bring back the functionality?
  2. I'm in process of transferring blog posts from Wordpress to Squarespace for a client. Previously we could drag an image from their old post to a Squarespace post and the image would transfer along with the link it contained. It looks like the new uploader broke this so now we have to resort to downloading each image, reuploading each of them, and finding and entering the links they contained. It now takes many more clicks and searching, and easily takes 10x as long to transfer a post. Why has drag and drop been removed? This is a MAJOR step backwards. Is there a workaround, or a way to go back to the old uploader? We have 300 posts to go, each containing dozens of images, and I'm now going to lose a ton of money, or have to submit a change order and have a pissed off client. Help, please!
