Our festival is in the middle of its operating season. I am sleep deprived and pressed for time. While making a simple change to the website late at night, I accidentally deleted the footer and saved the change without noticing. The footer is important. It contains our sponsor logos, important links, etc. I could not find a way to restore it. So I went to wayback.archive.org and pulled up a recent archive of the website and copied the HTML for the footer. I created a new blank footer, added a code injection block, and pasted the code. Boom! My footer was back but a little wonky with the formatting and the links have the wayback.archive.org url in them preventing them from properly opening. That's okay, I thought, the important stuff is visible, and I can edit the formatting and URLS in the morning. However - now the "Edit Footer" menu option does not appear. I've tried multiple browsers. I assume it is something wrong with the code in the injection block, but that block is inside the footer, which I cannot edit. I am happy deleting the footer entirely and rebuilding from scratch. But it won't let me.
