  1. I'm not a coder but the navigation titles you see in the header are the actual pages you have created. If you create a new page that is not nested under one of your current pages, it too will show up in the header menu. To see the pages in your navigation menu, go to your working site, click Pages in the left column and you will see a site map of your website. Under Main Navigation you can add a new page or nest existing pages under one of your other pages. HTH.
  2. As of Feb. 03. it looks like the SS engineers have resolved the issue and I can now edit my site.
  3. FYI, It wasn't code that disabled the EDIT function in MacOS Safari 12.1 for me, I removed all the Custom CSS and still no luck even after a cache purge, so I reinstalled all my custom code. That is until today Feb. 03., it looks like the SS engineering team sorted out the tissue and all is well again. Finger crossed.
  4. As of Feb. 03, the issue of not being able to edit my SS site in Mac OS Safari 12.1 has been resolved, yay!
  5. Finally got a response from SS on my ticket, here's their reply, BTW I am using Safari v12.1: "After looking into this, I can confirm that we are experiencing an issue with editing some Squarespace sites on older versions of the Safari browser. We’ve reported this to our Engineering team, and they’re currently prioritizing the issue. Please keep in mind that there are many moving parts we need to address before we roll out a solution. We thoroughly test all fixes before they’re released to ensure they don’t affect other Squarespace components or customers."

  7. Tried your solution, nada! No response from SS on my ticket either, I guess I'll be on the phone with them next.
  8. Hmm, interesting. Odd that Chrome is just fine, my iPad is fine buy desktop MacOS and Safari aren’t . I’ll give is a try.
  9. Lucky you 😉 None of that for me on my site in MacOS Safari. I have filed a case number so hopefully they can resolve it quickly.
  10. That is really odd. They did have some issues with 7.1 templates on Thursday, https://status.squarespace.com but claim it is all fixed, apparently not.
  11. To add to this, I can add a new page but can not edit the page elements. I can click the gear icon and select to to be unpublished and delete the page too.
  12. Yes, I have logged out and back in. Cleared Cache through the Develop Menu -> Empty Cache with no effect. Removing these has no effect.
  13. That's odd. Does your 'EDIT' button change to 'DONE' when you click it? We may need to narrow it down to platform and browser versions. Mac OS: Version 10.12.6 Safari: Version 12.1 (12607.1.40.1.5)
  14. I am having the same issues on an iMac in Safari however, I have discovered that I can edit my site using Chrome. Additionally, I can edit my site using my iPad and Safari so to me it looks like a platform(Mac OS) and browser(Safari) issue. One thing that I have noticed is new, when I click on the EDIT button(Mac OS+Safari) the entire bar across the top that includes the button, a blue outline appears(see attached file) and 'EDIT' does not change, not so in Chrome.
