  1. Site URL: https://www.jets-pottery.co.uk/shop Hiya I have set up my shop with the majority of items being in stock and available to purchase. The variant option is great for those products where people can choose to pre-order something for me to custom make. The issue I'm having is if I've got 1 stock item, for example a wax burner, and I then want to give the customer the option to upgrade it to a gift box, or add a wrapping option. If I go down the variant route, which allows different pricing, it looks like i have 2 burners in stock, which I don't! So how do you put in an 'upgrade' option. So 1 stock item but with extras, can be done at checkout or within the listing, I'm not bothered 🙂 I also find the layout a bit messy so is there code to ensure that only the number of items in stock is actually shown? at the moment the default is to show lots of items but then not allow you to order more than the xx in stock. It would be better to only have the number available show in the drop down menu thank you Jane
  2. thank you so much that's really helpful! I don't seem to be getting all of the breadcrumbs though. I get Shop and product title. Much better than before but if there's a way of getting the subcategory title that would be fabulous!!
  3. Site URL: https://silver-plane-8any.squarespace.com/config/pages/5fec789d508897782dacf081/categories/5fec9135130d9f72176a9104 Hi I'm setting up a new website in order to upgrade and transition from version 7.0 website. I'm learning as I go along so bear with me please. I've managed to resolve the variants which is a helpful set up. However it is also restrictive unless I'm missing something. I'm trying to allow customers to do a gift box and with that they get a base item (wax burner in this instance) but they can choose which scented wax melt they want. So the stock is actually 1, the burner, but with the melts as the variant it is indicating that there is a stock of 5. So from what I understand that means someone could go in and choose a burner and scent xx then choose a burner with scent yy but unfortunately as there's only 1 burner it's not a true reflection of the actual stock levels. so can you control the actual base product? thanks Jane
