  1. I am similar to your clients. We run a non-profit and process all of our payments through Square. It really would be nice if it can be done on our Squarespace site also here in Canada.
  2. Yes, this banner would be one page I would like to be able to have a roll over.
  3. Thanks. At least I know it's not something lacking on my end in terms of a lack of know how.
  4. I am new to using code and tried to get this to work on my site. But couldn't. I would love to have this option for a couple of my pages. Where do I put this code. I tried it in Design/Custom CSS and that didn't work. But I also don't know if I need site/page specific info to modify the code. Can you help.
  5. Site URL: https://www.rethinkhomes.com/portfolio I just finished a new site for our business Rethink Homes and had assumed it would be easy to share individual images in our portfolio of work. But it appears like there is no way to share the images in a gallery block with or not they are opened in a Lightbox. I have subscribed to Elfsight and injected code for Social Sharing but it only appears at the bottom of the entire page. So a person could share www.rethinkhomes.com/portfolio but not a specific image like: <https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6026a3fc2232f5399225114b/1613439779442-BBOBOXX5DW265FVKXSYL/ke17ZwdGBToddI8pDm48kKbYNcVTaeH8P2sqBdlIHHt7gQa3H78H3Y0txjaiv_0fDoOvxcdMmMKkDsyUqMSsMWxHk725yiiHCCLfrh8O1z4YTzHvnKhyp6Da-NYroOW3ZGjoBKy3azqku80C789l0o8OMvY5tuV_wqZQCqqStn7AuPlkxdOrsfwm3VrSLMG3wZJlLN9KeMlrzfnIgCHX4g/Kitchen+2.jpg?format=750w> Also when I use the "image url" in a facebook post it shows the address as images.squarespace-cdn.com not rethinkhomes.com/whatever-name-i-give-the-image address.
  6. It really would be helpful if Squarespace would allow individual formatting for each blog, rather than making everything universal. Or at least if you could select individual formatting over universal. I use one blog page for our events (as it provides way more flexibility as an event calendar, then the event pages), but I don't want to see author on my blog of event listings. Then I have a blog of articles and I want the author, author bio etc. But I would like both blogs to be formatted as 1:1 grid style. Is there any way to take masonry and have it align like grid?
  7. I am looking for the same. As I am using the Blog as my Event page (less limiting than Events) I would like to display Fri. Jan. 13, 2021 or even minimally Jan 13-21. It seems like that wouldn't be a big programming deal for SQSP.
  8. Thank you for your clear, helpful, and comprehensive response. I really appreciate it. I've now PM'd over 12 individuals who provided positive reviews on Elfsight's FB page. Most have responded and affirmed a very positive experience with Elfsight's apps as well as their Customer Service.
  9. I have read a number of very bad reviews about Elfsight that cause me to pause. Some users have said that when a user reaches their traffic limit (based on annual fee) you deactivate the widgets and replace them with advertising of Elfsight. If this were ever to happen on our site, it would damage our credibility and integrity. Several users also said that Elfsight even did this without letting the owner that the site was coming close to the limit. This is an unacceptable experience and causes me concern. Even the idea of a widget on our site, say the Event Calendar, being deactivated midstream because we have a surge in traffic, would be awful. My question on the Squarespace forum, is are there any reliable, arms length, reviews by reputable organizations or individuals? Or have any of the professional site developers on the forum worked with Elfsight? I love the products Elfsight offers. But need to be sure I am working with a reputable company. I also believe Elfisight is a Russian based company. With all the hacks and attacks said to be originating from Russia, I am also concerned about adding code that might be doing more than simply the job of the widget.
  10. Derrick, I am in the same place as Rob, trying to decide between 7.0 and 7.1. Do you know if Squarespace is planning to build future development on 7.1 or is it almost like an additional template (like Brine) with some different features? I am also at a junction of doing a major build on our site which is currently on the Basil template (Brine family). We are about to add a lot of content, so it would be a good time to consider whether we should move to 7.1 or dig deeper into Brine. If Squarespace is planning on building many new features and starting points with 7.1. It may be worth the move. I have less 85 URL slugs to deal with and no blog posts yet. My site is www.lifeapp.ca. I would appreciate your thoughts and suggestion as to which direction you would take.
  11. Site URL: https://elfsight.com/ I am looking for a number of solid widgets for Squarespace 7.1. A well designed event calendar, an reliable way to implement parallax, and a number of other plugins/widgets. Elfsight offers a number that look really good. But I have read some seriously concerning reviews that have caused me to pause before I purchase. I know that Elfsight is on this forum, so I would appreciate any reviews or arms-length 3rd party feedback they may be able to share. But even more, I am wondering if anyone else on the forum has any experience working with Elfsight.
