Feedback on illustration portfolio website
kwokworks replied to kwokworks's topic in Feedback on Your Site
@tuanphan Hiya - thanks so much for the feedback 🙂 Also glad the typography looks good to you! 1. Oh that's a good point on the footer columns being on the narrow side. I've tried out the CSS you featured in the feedback - was that what that was for? 2. Thanks for spotting that - I think both About and Contact should be updated now in terms of SEO. 3. Thanks for letting me know! Were there any ones on a particular page that looked too narrow on your end? I'll have a check myself too, but let me know if there were any specific ones that really stood out in terms of width. Again -

@derricksrandomviews Hi, that would be right, thanks! Ah, sorry I missed that - here's the password: quirkilymade2020 I guess the logo in the header section (both mobile and desktop versions) is the main area of focus. The other is the section background for 'What I do' under the 'About' page. Let me know if you need more info? Cheers!

Site URL: https://www.quirkilymade.com/ Hi there, Hope things are well! I'm going a bit of a limb here I guess but I wondered whether I could get some feedback on my website? For some context, I'm trying to start out as a freelance illustrator/creative and have had a hand at making a portfolio and would love to get some additional thoughts on user experience. Password: quirkilymade2020 The Contact and About page has an illustration I will add to the side of the first section (hence the gap on the right) but will add CSS to allow it to disappear once the screen reaches a width

Site URL: https://www.quirkilymade.com/ Hi there, Hope you've had a wonderful festive season wherever you are 🙂 I have a couple of questions around Dark Mode in Squarespace 7.1, I'm still figuring my way around 7.1 so I'm still working my way around the rodeo of 7.1. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could optimise/set colour choices to text/section blocks in dark mode for my site or to swap out my site logo (currently a png with black linework on a transparent background) with versions in white/reversed in dark mode? Not sure this is possible yet within 7.1 or if this is somet

Customising title area in blog posts in SS7.1
kwokworks replied to kwokworks's topic in Site Design and Styles
@derricksrandomviews Hi, thanks for your advice around this! I have used a blog summary block for the home page and it seems to work pretty well for navigational purposes - so that works a treat, thanks! 🙂 I do wonder though if there are any solutions to getting the title areas in the actual blog post themselves to allow for more customisation (say, adding a headline/ center-aligning the blog post title etc). But all good if there aren't. By the way, love your photos and the snow effects! -

Hi there, Not sure this is the best place/thread to ask, but thought to try (let me know if this should go somewhere else etc). For context, I'm trying to create a portfolio website for my illustration work, but am finding the Blog function better suited than Portfolios since it seems to allow for unpublishing content without deleting them/sorting projects into tags if needed for future-proofing. I'm trying to add a unique image behind the title for each blog post I create, similar to how you could create a headline in a layout page/portfolio sub-page. I was wondering if there was
