Having the same issue!

PatrickJ got a reaction from KarenTriana in Change background on hover
Yeah perfect! That's the exact effect I'm looking for - it'd be even better there's a way to have the background be playable videos (lol), but no worries if not, I know that's a way bigger ask đ

PatrickJ reacted to Beyondspace in How does one add a custom scrollbar to a custom scrollbox?
Try adding to Home > Design > Custom Css
/*width of scrollbar*/ .scrollBox::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 1em; } /*color of scroll bar*/ .scrollBox::-webkit-scrollbar-track { background: purple; } /*color of scroll button*/ .scrollBox::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb { background-color: darkgrey; outline: 1px solid slategrey; } Reference:Â https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_custom_scrollbar.asp

PatrickJ got a reaction from tuanphan in Custom Mega Menu Glitch
Managed to fix, it was somehow clashing with the animations on the site, so neither Clip or Flex animations played well with it. Switched the animations to Slide and it looks good!

PatrickJ reacted to Ziggy in Accordion menu causing my image to move
This is a current problem in Squarespace Fluid Engine, when you open the accordion, the grid rows get stretched taller, and this then changes the spacing in adjoining rows.
You can fix this by moving the image up one row. This may make the spacing too tight between the text and image, so you can possible increase the row padding on that section, or you could drag the image block box up a block, set it to fit rather than fill, and set the alignment to the bottom of the image block box.
Hope this helps!

PatrickJ got a reaction from ilseS in Image Block - On hover title/overlay/link
Unfortunately I gave up and reverted to just using a classic section and poster image blocks. Would love to see a solution for this on Fluid Engine though, as I use this functionality a lot đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸
Working version is on adelska.com, the incomplete Fluid Section is still on https://bronze-sunfish-y8k7.squarespace.com,  password âhelloâÂ

You need to remove pointer-events attribute, by adding this code under
body#collection-62304d6ed20cd35e329b1a7a li.list-item { position: relative !important; pointer-events: initial !important; } Â

PatrickJ reacted to feedmomandme in How to make a subscribe option AND a one time purchase
Site URL: https://www.feedmomandme.com/
Hi,
Is it possible to have a monthly subscription product and one time purchase on the same page? Something similar to the attachment. I was told duplicating a product page for a subscription hurts your seo.
Please Help!
Thanks Â

Sorry for the late response, @CarriePost! I ended up using Lightbox Anything, and combining it with MagicZoom from MagicToolbox! https://www.magictoolbox.com/magiczoomplus/integration/#mz-expanded-view-55034797888

PatrickJ reacted to LYFSolutions in New Google Analytics Tag
I contacted support and they advised that at this stage they have no update when their system will accept the new Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measurement ID.
It is disappointing because clients who don't have a business or eCommerce plan don't have any option to add the GA4 tag in.Â
Support suggest clients add a UA tag in but this disregards the fact GA4 is based on a global tag and even Google recommends during setup not to use the UA tag.
Understand Google has made the change, but at the very least Squarespace should allow code injection until they have a fix for this as GA4 is now the default for all new Google Analytics users. They are also strongly encouraging every current GA user to apply a GA4 property in parallel.
Another alternate, would be if Squarespace allowed people to add Google Tag Manager in without the need to upgrade their plan.
Given the current situation, is not suitable for several clients to pay more just for this feature.

Hey y'all, so I have lightbox anything set up to display an image gallery when a user clicks an image on the Collections page (password for the site is highfashion, if you want to take a look. I need a way to integrate some kind of magnifying glass or an image zoom that follows the cursor within the lightbox, any ideas? Cheers!
@tuanphan, any help? đđ˝

Agree that this would resolve it. Curious to hear from anyone that tries this whether GA ecommerce tracking works with this implementation though. In my experience, GA has to be implemented through Squarespace's built-in integration in order for ecommerce tracking to work.
