Use commerce function as a product catalogue without shopping cart etc.

I have the same difficulty and I have Montauk, which I have had for a long time and don't really want to change. I understand there is code I can put in to deactivate the cart...can you advise where I can find this? I don't want the shopping cart option, and it's alot of work to change templates because of this.
Trying to remove the shopping cart from my Montauk template on Squarespace, the customer service says it can only be done with custom code...sigh...

I am trying to remove the shopping cart/add to cart icon/option from the products page on my Montauk squarespace 7.0. I have spoken to customer service and I know my options are to get rid of the page altogether, but it is nicely set out for browsing. I don't want people to get confused with the shopping option.
