  1. Squarespace has a booking option. They acquired Acuity to offer better solutions. I don't use the feature often in my business but it seems to integrate well with your other standard online calendars.
  2. Big Picture: What are your goals for the website? Do you want to write blog posts and share them with friends and family? This would call for a very simple website with a home page, maybe a few images, and a blog/news/updates section for your readers. Once this simple site is set up, all you do going forward is create new blog posts, maybe update your images every now and then. Or do you want to sell products/ services? This is more advanced, as you need to set up and connect external services that will allow customers to input credit card, Paypal, or other payment information, include images for all products. I use Square and Stripe for payment processing and point of sale transactions. Regarding website terms, you can find a template online. It's just a disclaimer for people using your site. Are you collecting their data? Are you doing anything that a user might want to know about? As you're starting out, it's good to be aware of website terms / policies but it shouldn't be a barrier to start creating a website. You can worry about it when the website starts to grow. In terms of paying a professional to build your site, you can hire someone to build your website and hand over the keys (login info, etc) or you could hire someone on retainer to both create and maintain your website. All depends on your budget and how often you think you'll need to update the site. Hope that info helps!
  3. Follow these steps... 1. Click this link for support: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us?platform=v6&websiteId=5ca3709fe66669793c3dced8 2. Once you click the above link, look to the bottom right of the screen. 3. Click the question mark that you'll see at the bottom right of the screen (it's inside a circle) 4. When you see the chat box open, type "Start a live chat" and you will be put into an online queue of other people who are also waiting for support (they'll tell you how many people you have in front of you). If you still get an automated bot response, keep typing "human" or "live chat" and you'll make it there. 5. Wait until someone shows up on the other side and they'll answer your questions. Note: support has been super helpful in my experience, but Squarespace doesn't have every feature that everyone wants. So you have to be mindful of that. The support team does not equal the developer team, so be patient when it doesn't go your way.
  4. Your site is set to private so I cannot see it. Have you looked in the Design section on the left hand side of the screen? Follow this path by clicking the following...Home>Design>Site Styles Within Site Styles, there are options to change Body and Button font sizes. That may not fulfill your goal but it's a good place to start.
  5. I haven't sold services yet so I'm not sure, but it certainly looks like you cannot bundle them with physical or digital products. I set up a physical product and mentioned in the description that any purchase of said product would entitle the buyer to a digital download of a new album. As soon as someone purchases, they get an automated email with a free download code. I just set up an automated email using Squarespace's email campaign tools and it seems to be working. The biggest drawback of this is that it adds annoying extra steps for the buyer. It would be great if there was a payment completion page that included a place for direct downloads of content. Like, have a photo of the physical product on the left with an order confirmation number, and a message that says, "Thanks for your purchase! Your order will ship out soon. In the meantime, click the link for your instant digital download."
  6. thank you! I went ahead and set up an automated email with a free download code. This method adds additional steps that do not streamline the purchase process, but it definitely helps! I appreciate your assistance.
  7. I just switched from free Mailchimp to paid Squarespace email campaigns because of trouble connecting my products to Mailchimp via Stripe / Square. The products wouldn't show up in Mailchimp, and Squarespace solved that problem. Squarespace's product integration is streamlined, but I'd like more, custom control over font families, and the ability to embed other code into an email, say playlist embeds from one of the many music streaming services out there. Let me know if this is not the place for asking about features that don't exist yet. I imagine the dev team will be on it, but just wanted to do better at bringing ideas to the table in the forums. Thanks.
  8. I need this functionality, too. Just had a sale where I had to manually send the digital portion of the bundle, which doesn't work at scale. Any updates here, @srodrigues ? Thanks!
