  1. Thanks. That is exactly what I do not want. I am exploring other options now. Wix offers the ability to add a image at checkout within their system without the use of 3rd party forms. I am looking at the templates offered and while I like the Squarespace templates better (so far from what I've seen), The end user experience and not giving them the feeling of a two bit operation is important, which a link to a different site to add a form seems to be, at least to me. I may have to go that route which stinks as I was hoping to keep all of my sites on one platform.
  2. Support informed me I can add a Wufoo form that allows for a buyer to add an image. I am worried about this approach as a) Squarespace will offer no support for this and b) simply trying to use Wufoo's site keeps running me in circles (I click to add a form and it tells me to login, when I am already logged in). I am wondering if I should look for a Squarespace alternative that hopefully allows for this. The options seem awfully limited to me. If they are going to actively advertise themselves as a ecommerce site builder and host, they have to up their game
  3. I am not sure if the URL above will work, I am just starting to build the site and it's not live yet. I am looking to add a custom field that allows a customer to enter text or upload an image to send in with their order. We will be creating custom laser engraved products and they will need the ability to add this info with their order. I cannot find anywhere to do this. I MAY have found where they can enter text, but not upload an image. If I edit the product and scroll to the bottom, I can add custom forms, BUT, I am not sure how this info is entered/sent to us from that point. Does it just show in the order page when an order comes in? If you can guide me on this and how to add a field for them to enter their logo/image files, I would be very grateful. Thank you
  4. So as the title says, all customer inquiries sent from my sites contact page go to my spam folder. Because my phone does not deliver spam notifications (nor does my computer), I miss many emails and only see them if I go to check spam, which I never do from my phone. I use gmail with a workspace account, so emails are sent to contact@mydomain.com and not gmail.com. I have looked through all settings in gmail and cannot find anything to correct this. Google support has been utterly useless any time I have tried to use them, so hoping someone can help here.
  5. That was it. I knew it was somewhere I didn't expect it and kept overlooking it while searching. Thanks once again for your help.
  6. Site URL: http://www.ee-ct.com I placed a temporary banner at the top of my site regarding temp hours. I have utilized this in the past and cannot remember where to find this in the settings. I want to remove it or better yet, change the message to state we are back to regular hours.
  7. Site URL: http://www.extremeelectronics.net Does anyone else experience a lot more spam emails ever since switching to Squarespace to host your site? I get specific ones, especially, with scammers trying to get me to click links, claiming my site is using copyrighted images, which it isn't. The emails they are sent from are ghost email addresses that you cannot respond to (I tried from a "burner" email account to see if I could send to them). They are always from different accounts, with different names, but same basic wording. I get anywhere from a few a week, to several of these a day. I have added a Google Capcha feature to my site to eliminate bots from sending emails, but they still are coming in, at an alarming rate. I did not have any of these types of spam emails before I switched to Squarespace.
  8. Thanks again. I am not sure what I did as I did not remove code. I just added the above code though and it works great. I greatly appreciate all of your help
  9. Wow, thanks so much once again. I didn't even notice the issues you found, so it is greatly appreciated that you took the time to review everything. I am not sure if this changed just now when I added/changed the code you just outlined, but I noticed on my phone, on the blog page the header image is again not showing the full image. I think you helped me with this in the past as it was displaying properly at one point
  10. I'd love to fix all the issues. To be honest, I wasn't aware them. I did not test the site with a tablet, so I did not notice that. I did not have the issue with the text overlap in the blog before but see that I do now. I guess I must have changed something along the way that messed it up.
  11. Perfect. Thank you so much. Can I send you a donation for all your help? My site would not be what it is without your continuous help
  12. That is the "Our Work" main portfolio page. If you go into the individual jobs, two or three of them have the drop shadows, and the rest do not, like this one
  13. Thank you so much. I have another question. The shadow is working on a couple of the portfolio entries when you select them, but the rest do not have the shadow. I am not sure why just those two entries have the drop shadow. Is there a way to add more code to have them all have the shadow?
  14. Hi tuanphan, no I have not. I am not sure what needs to be done to correct it.
  15. Does anyone have any idea on why the shadows are no longer showing in my portfolio page and how to restore them?
  16. Thanks for the response. Like I said in my post, they are not working on my portfolio page, labeled Our Work on the site. They no longer show in that section. They are still showing where they were on the rest of the site.
  17. Site URL: http://www.extremeelectronics.net I have a shadow background on the images on my site, and all of a sudden, they are no longer working on my portfolio page (Our Work section of our site). I just added a video to one of the projects and noticed that all of the shadows are now gone. I don't know if the video had anything to do with it. Wondering if anyone can help me fix this issue.
  18. Thanks tuanphan. I'm not sure why I didn't see the answer before. I did not get a notification. In any event, thank you for answering here. I just applied it and it works. Thanks so much
  19. Tuanphan, I am having the same issue with the image on my Blog page on mobile. You can see it here: http://www.extremeelectronics.net/blog-1 On the computer, it displays fine, but on mobile, it just shows the LO in BLOG. If you don't mind helping me with this, I would very much appreciate it.
  20. Hoping there is a way to resize the image just on Mobile so it fits. Would be nice if there was a resizing tool in the software, per mobile versus standard browser
  21. Site URL: http://www.extremeelectronics.net/blog-1 I created a box below the header and added a image set to Full Bleed on most of my pages. Its a bit challenging with some images as you don't have a lot of control of how it displays. However, I have it how I want on the pages for the post part, on a computer browser. I noticed that on my blog page, the image on mobile does not display correctly. It's an image that say BLOG, and on mobile, it only displays LO as it is stretched off the screen. It is fine in landscape mode, but when in Portrait, the way everyone uses their phone, LO is what displays. Is there anyway to adjust this?
