  1. Site URL: https://www.bridgingfortomorrow.org/growgroups I'm trying to alter some elements of this scheduler. I don't have the plan that allows me to inject custom code straight into the scheduler, but couldn't I just make the changes under Design > Custom CSS as long as I have the block id? Basically I want to change some wording around in a few places. I want it to say "Week of Sept 7" instead of the date, and I want t0 change the 9:30 time that's displayed also. This is what I tried to no avail: #block-121c2dcd48b21210c5e3 span.babel-ignore {display:Week of Sept 7} Any help much appreciated.
  2. Hello - We have been using Squarespace scheduler in our Food Pantry to book appointments for clients and for volunteers (www.bridgingfortomorrow.org/pantry and www.bridgingfortomorrow.org/volunteer-signup. So far it's working okay. But what I really need is to be able to have a totally different scheduling page for each calendar -with different words on each. I realized that when I was editing the Scheduling page with our volunteers in mind, it also changed the Scheduling page for our clients - which was a disaster. They need totally different information when they sign up. Is this possible? Thanks for any help!
  3. Site URL: https://www.thesaltyco.com Hi folks, I created a pretty straightforward site for some clients and it went live on Monday. Everything was done. I got paid - everyone was happy. Then I got a text saying that they don't know what they did... and now their url (or any specific page on their url) goes to this Shopify landing page. I know they were trying to setup a Shopify store, obv, but... I don't really know anything about that platform. I tried to disconnect it, and I tried chatting with Shopfiy help for an hour and they had me go into our DNS settings on GoDaddy, where I can see that everything is so jacked up, but the things they had me change didn't fix anything. Also, I don't know why we weren't communicating well, but I was never sure that Shopify understood that a Shopfiy landing page had taken over this entire site. Does anyone have any tips or know how I might even begin to tackle this? Shopify has been totally unhelpful, and even when I totally cancelled the store and subscription this landing page didn't go away. I mean, you can see for yourself if you try to visit our site, but here's a screen shot. Any help is VERY appreciated. Also, I can upload a pic of the DNS settings if that would be helpful. Cheers.
  4. Site URL: https://www.bridgingfortomorrow.org/give-spanish I'm working on the Spanish side of our website. I've hidden the footer and just re-created a block that looks just like the English footer on each Spanish page in Spanish (or it will be in Spanish, I haven't translated it all yet). It was laborious, but it worked. Fixing the header is not nearly so easy. I hid the normal (English) header, and I've gotten some links to display up top. Currently the links aren't pointed in the correct place, but that's not the problem. When I switch to mobile (or change the size of my screen at all) the new "navigation" that I've cobbled together doesn't move at all. In fact, on mobile, it just... disappears off the screen. The main problem I'm trying to fix is that the English nav points to the English pages. I need a Spanish nav that I can point to the Spanish pages, but not across the whole site. This is just the work-around I've come up with. Is this a decent work around? Can someone help me figure out how to make this new nav bar I've created responsive OR suggest a better idea? Open to any suggestions and appreciative of any!! Code I'm currently using on the header/nav: <style> .header-nav { display: none; } .burger-box { visibility: hidden; } </style> <ul class="kl-topnav"> <li><a href="abcxyz.com">DAR</a></li> <li><a href="abcxyz.com">NOSOTROS </a></li> <li><a href="abcxyz.com">PROGRAMMAS </a></li> <li><a href="abcxyz.com">VOLUNTARIO</a></li> </ul> <style> .kl-topnav { list-style-type: none; margin: 0; padding: 0; display: flex; flex-direction: row; position: absolute; z-index: 999; } </style> <style> .kl-topnav { padding-top: 3em; padding-left:33em;} </style> <style> .kl-topnav a { color: #F2F2F2 ; text-align: center; padding: 14px 16px; text-decoration: none; font-size: 17px; } </style> Thanks!!
  5. I was just told that it was impossible. And that even if it were possible, I wouldn't want to do it since it would slow my site down so much. 🤷‍♀️
  6. Site URL: https://cat-wedge-xh9c.squarespace.com/about I have not been able to get a clear answer on getting my background/banner video to autoplay on mobile. I've got a background video coming from YouTube, which I know has been having problems, so lower on the page I added a background video from Vimeo (I have Vimeo Plus) to test out. I know that video needs the playsinline attribute to autoplay on mobile, but where? How do I add this? adding "?autoplay=1" does nothing. Or is it actually just impossible to get background videos to autoplay on mobile on Squarespace 7.1? Do I need some third party product? I saw one site that said I needed to download Handbrake to make video autoplay on mobile? Any explanations would be so appreciated!
  7. Site URL: https://cat-wedge-xh9c.squarespace.com/about I have two gallerys on my 'About' page - one for staff and one for our BOD. I want only one of these - the BOD - to display in three columns on mobile. By using this code : @media screen and (max-width:800px) { .gallery-grid-wrapper { grid-template-columns: repeat(3,1fr) !important; grid-row-gap: 3vw !important; } } I can change it to three columns, but it changes both of the blocks on the page. Can someone tell me how to just specify that one section that I want to change? Thanks! Website: https://cat-wedge-xh9c.squarespace.com/about
  8. Site URL: https://cat-wedge-xh9c.squarespace.com/programs I'm trying to create a list of the programs and services that we offer at the Community Center where I work. We're a small non-profit which is why I am doing 20 jobs and learning them as I go. I want two buttons to appear inside each accordion drop-down. One that says "Learn More" and one that says "Volunteer". I've figured out how to get the button in there. I've even figured out how to make it look decent, but it is changing EVERY link/button on my page when I do that and making them all look crazy. Here is the code I was using. I don't even remember where I found it. (The button won't link to google, obv, I just haven't gotten very far yet.) The password to the website is: bft2020 <style> a:link, a:visited { background-color: #00B0B9; color: white; padding: 14px 25px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; display: inline-block;} </style> <a href="https://google.com" target="_blank">Volunteer</a>
