  1. Unfortunately, I have not found much of a solution, other than to re-build my graphics with the same exact width every time (with varying heights). That way it at least all lines up. I also thought fluid engine would offer me much more flexibility - similar to Wix - but then got stuck with the alignment issues and no way to turn back without losing the page. I do wish it was a freer grid than it is at the moment. I did attempt (very badly) to figure out the ratio for each block (through screenshots and replication), but it did not work when scaling. That makes sense, though, as you said the blocks change along with screen size - which brings a whole other difficulty to everything. I truly don't understand why they didn't go with a typical (and consistent) grid like you can do on AI, without the blocks and spaces. Definitely makes updating your portfolio even more of an annoyance!
  2. This may be a stupid question, but I just can't figure out what the aspect ratio is for the grid for this new fluid engine approach. I'm trying to update my website (which is a design portfolio), and I'm struggling to figure out what size I need to export everything at so that I can keep spacing consistent in-between separate graphics as well as keep them at the same width. I know I can choose "fill" instead of "fit," however this then cuts off parts of the design I'm displaying - which I do not want, either. I guess I'm looking for some sort of information like "a block is 1" wide and the gap is .125" wide" or anything similar so I can size and export my graphics to line up with the blocks correctly, since you can't stop an edge in the middle of a block, either. Below is an example where one way the (first) graphic doesn't line up height-wise, but then if I adjust the height, then the width doesn't line up. Pre-adjustment: Post-adjustment:
