  1. Site URL: https://www.lucykeaveny.com Hi My client wants to point their SQS site, temporarily, to a new Clickfunnels sales channel they have built. Has anyone done this and if so, what steps do I need to take at the SQS end to make this happen?! Nervous when changing DNS settings! Thanks, much appreciated.
  2. Hi, thanks for replying, I can edit the autoplay in code injection. The site has only recently gone live so I just need to be careful when I do it, as it will have the most traffic this week. I did tweak the code slightly - below - and it does seem a bit better, in that each comment just fits on mobile, but it is still creeping very slightly to the right, as it scrolls through the testimonials, so if I could fix that, it would be OK. Thanks. These are the mobile-specific elements of the coding now. I have a similar slider on another site with no problems, so I wonder if it's something to do with this one having a background block of colour set. @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .sqs-gallery-design-carousel { max-height: 570px; width: auto !important!; position: relative; }} @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .summary-excerpt p { padding-right: 22px !important; position: relative !important; overflow: visible; text-align: center !important; }} @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .summary-heading h2 { text-align: center !important; }}
  3. Hiya, yes sure, do I need to do that in the code injection coding? Thanks
  4. Site URL: https://www.deliciouscreations.co.uk Hi The text on the homepage rotating testimonial slider on my clients site, populated from blog entries, is cutting off slightly on the right hand side - there are 10 testimonials and it starts to happen on the last couple, like it's creeping over to the right slightly on each one. Looks fine on desktop. Can anyone suggest why and which bit of my coding is wrong! Thank you! Here is the complete coding for the slider: /*TESTIMONIAL SLIDER - landing page*/ .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next, .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous { display: block; float: right; position: relative; top: auto; left: -15px; right: 15px; bottom: auto; margin: 0 0 15px 0; padding: 0; background-color: transparent; color: inherit !important; font-size: 16px; line-height: 16px; cursor: pointer; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next:before { font-family: 'squarespace-ui-font'; font-style: normal; speak: none; font-weight: normal; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; content: "\E003"; text-align: center; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next:before { font-size: 64px; width: 64px; height: 64px; line-height: 64px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next:before { font-size: 32px; width: 16px; height: 32px; line-height: 32px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous { margin-right: 10px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous:before { font-family: 'squarespace-ui-font'; font-style: normal; speak: none; font-weight: normal; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; content: "\E000"; text-align: center; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous:before { font-size: 64px; width: 64px; height: 64px; line-height: 64px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous:before { font-size: 32px; width: 16px; height: 32px; line-height: 32px; } .summary-carousel-pager .previous { position: absolute !important; left: -15% !important; right: inherit !important; top: 45% !important; } .summary-carousel-pager .next { position: absolute !important; left: inherit !important; right: -15% !important; top: 45% !important; } .summary-excerpt p { font-size: 19px !important; line-height: 1.6em !important; font-style: italic; letter-spacing: 0.13; text-align: center !important; color: hsl(34, 3%, 54%); } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel { background: hsl(48, 87%, 92%); max-width: 800px; max-height: 1000px; margin: 0 auto; position: relative; padding: 40px; } /*Reduce Testimonial Slider thumbnail size*/ .summary-thumbnail img { max-width: 15%; max-height: 15%; margin: auto; } .summary-thumbnail-container { pointer-events: none !important; } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .sqs-gallery-design-carousel { max-height: 570px; min-width: 300px; }} @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .summary-excerpt p { padding-left: 0px!important; padding-right: 20px !important; position: relative !important; overflow: visible; text-align: center !important; }} @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .summary-heading h2 { text-align: center !important; }} @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .summary-carousel-pager .previous { position: relative !important; left: -15% !important; right: inherit !important; top: 25% !important; } .summary-carousel-pager .next { position: relative !important; left: inherit !important; right: 15% !important; top: 25% !important; }}
  5. Just wondering if anyone can help before I drown in coding tweaks! Thanks
  6. Site URL: https://www.deliciouscreations.co.uk Hi I have noticed that the text on the homepage testimonial slider on my clients site, populated from blog entries, is cutting off slightly on the right hand side - there are 10 testimonials and it starts to happen at number 4 onwards, and also on the last few the text is slightly overlapping onto the next one. Looks fine on desktop. Here is the complete coding for the slider: /*TESTIMONIAL SLIDER - landing page*/ .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next, .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous { display: block; float: right; position: relative; top: auto; left: -15px; right: 15px; bottom: auto; margin: 0 0 15px 0; padding: 0; background-color: transparent; color: inherit !important; font-size: 16px; line-height: 16px; cursor: pointer; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next:before { font-family: 'squarespace-ui-font'; font-style: normal; speak: none; font-weight: normal; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; content: "\E003"; text-align: center; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next:before { font-size: 64px; width: 64px; height: 64px; line-height: 64px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next:before { font-size: 32px; width: 16px; height: 32px; line-height: 32px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous { margin-right: 10px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous:before { font-family: 'squarespace-ui-font'; font-style: normal; speak: none; font-weight: normal; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; content: "\E000"; text-align: center; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous:before { font-size: 64px; width: 64px; height: 64px; line-height: 64px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous:before { font-size: 32px; width: 16px; height: 32px; line-height: 32px; } .summary-carousel-pager .previous { position: absolute !important; left: -15% !important; right: inherit !important; top: 45% !important; } .summary-carousel-pager .next { position: absolute !important; left: inherit !important; right: -15% !important; top: 45% !important; } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .summary-carousel-pager .previous { position: relative !important; left: -15% !important; right: inherit !important; top: 25% !important; } .summary-carousel-pager .next { position: relative !important; left: inherit !important; right: 15% !important; top: 25% !important; }} @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .summary-carousel-pager .previous { position: relative !important; left: -15% !important; right: inherit !important; top: 25% !important; } .summary-carousel-pager .next { position: relative !important; left: inherit !important; right: 15% !important; top: 25% !important; }} .summary-excerpt p { font-size: 19px !important; line-height: 1.6em !important; font-style: italic; letter-spacing: 0.13; text-align: center !important; color: hsl(34, 3%, 54%); } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel { background: hsl(48, 87%, 92%); max-width: 700px; max-height: 1000px; margin: 0 auto; position: relative; padding: 40px; } /*Reduce Testimonial Slider thumbnail size*/ .summary-thumbnail img { max-width: 15%; max-height: 15%; margin: auto; } .summary-thumbnail-container { pointer-events: none !important; } @media screen and (max-width: 767px) { .sqs-gallery-design-carousel { margin: 0 auto; position: relative; padding: 40px; min-height: 260px; }} Any help very much appreciated.
  7. Site URL: https://www.deliciouscreations.squarespace.com Hi I have set up a staggered layout on a Testimonials page which shows: 1. Image 2. Text 3. Text 4. Image Etc But on mobile I would like it to run: 1. Image 2. Text 4. Image 3. Text Etc What coding would I need to be able to do that? Does it have to be set for each block (I'll be adding to the page in the future)? Password innovation. Thank you so much!

  10. Hi Is it possible to add coding to overrule the Depending on Weight shipping costs, whereby shipping costs are set on weight BUT if a customer spends over £50, postage is free? We have a customer who sells 5 products and there are 4-5 different weights for each, so it seems easiest to set a weight-based shipping rate and then it would be great to be able to add in some kind of coding that says any order over £50 is free shipping. He's only on the basic commerce plan and wouldn't be keen to pay the additional £13 per month for the Advanced plan, to be able to create a discount code, as he will be absorbing some of the postage costs anyway! Thanks.
  11. Hi, I have just added a new testimonial as an image to a gallery page (testimonial carousel slider), however it doesn't seem to be picking up this new 'image'. Is there somewhere where I should specify the number of images on a gallery page? Thank you!
  12. Hi I have added page code injection to a number of pages on my clients site to change the background colour: <style> section {background-color: #ffffff;!important;} </style> But now the site is live, it only seems to work if you refresh the page. Can I convert that style code to css code? Thanks!
  13. Hi @bangank36 would you have any ideas of why this drop out would happen. Thanks.
  14. Hi I have set a pop-up on a clients site, with the post-submit message to include a clickable link to a PDF, which works fine. However there is a URL link in the PDF pack to the site (About page) and it doesn't work - "Safari can't open the specified address - first part of the address not valid". When I open the PDF on my laptop the link works fine, just not when opening the PDF from the post-submit message. Any ideas? Thanks
  15. Hi, I have set a white background on some of the pages on my clients site, by using the following in the page Advanced code injection: <style> .Main { background-color: hsl(0,0%,100%); !important; } </style> But sometimes the white drops out and the backgrounds revert back to the main background page colour. If I cut and then paste the code back in, it works again. But I don't want to have to keep doing that of course! Any ideas? Thanks everyone.
  16. Hi I need to connect my client's existing/old site, which has a domain in a different name to the new one I have built in Squarespace, in order to do the 301 page redirects. When I connect to the existing site, held with 1&1, will that affect the new site on Squarespace in any way? We want to go live with the new SQS site tomorrow but I haven't done the connection & page redirects yet, because the existing site needs to remain live & active. Once you start a domain connection for this purpose, can the new Squarespace site still be switched on while the connection is happening in the background? And when I input the 301's, can the site remain live while I do that? Thank you!
  17. Hi @edharris would you be able to point me in the right direction from the additional details I added. Thanks!
  18. Thanks to both of you for replying. @edharris, I read your guide and it was really helpful, thanks. @tuanphan, would never have been able to build this site without the coding solutions that you have shared on the forums, which I have copied! Thank you! So the existing site is hosted and registered with 1&1 Ionos and is in a different name to the one I have built in Squarespace. I am not sure on whether I need to connect that site to Squarespace first, before I can put the 301 redirects in place (because the domains are in different names). And if so, at what point do I do that, i.e. what happens to a site once it has been connected, can it still be accessed? My client needs her existing site to stay visible until next Wednesday when the new Squarespace site goes live. It's really just understanding the steps to be taken and the correct order, so that nothing goes missing or gets missed! Thanks.
  19. Hi, I am close to completing my client's site - yay! - and now need to put in place the necessary processes to make sure their old site points to this new site. Their existing site is in a completely different name. I have asked my client's IT guy to create a list of page URLs for the existing site. This is my 1st build so the questions I have are: - Do I have to connect the existing site to the new one on Squarespace to allow URL redirects to happen? (or transfer the domain after the new site is live, to say my client paying for 2 hosting fees) and when should I do that. Once a connection is done, is the old site then unaccessible? - At what point do I paste in the URL redirect summary (I am OK setting that spreadsheet up) into Advanced settings in Squarespace - after the site goes live? - How does Google know to point the old site to the new site if they are in completely different domain names and we only use the end part of the URL slug name?! Your help is really appreciated! Thanks.
  20. Hi, I am trying to add a gradient colour background to my markdown blocks. I have the main background green in place and have tried to add the gradient by changing the code to that below, but no gradient! Thanks. .markdown-block { background: linear-gradient(to right, #d6e6db, #e2f3e8, #d6e6db); }

  22. Hi, I have set up h4, 5 & 6 successfully but h7 is aligning left despite the coding below: h7 { font-family: 'Dancing Script'; font-weight: 500; font-size: 39px; font-style: italic; letter-spacing: 0.03em; text-transform: sentence; line-height: 1.3em; color: hsl(44, 66%, 59%); text-align: center; } Any suggestions? Many thanks, Jo

  24. Hi, I have set up a landing page in Moksha, and in tablet view, I am losing the end of heading2 words off the screen (image on left; text on right style). All good on laptop and mobile, just an issue on tablet. Also, for laptop & tablet, how would I adjust the size of the Shutterstock image used at the side of a text box, to make them sit at the same height as the text or at least centred next to the text? On mobile it's all good because the image sits below the text. No coding please if poss! Thanks for your help.
