    The trouble is that my existing "old" site has Acuity scheduling integrated with lots of meeting types and other customization, and I can't find any way to transfer it -- exactly as is -- to the "new" site once it's built.

    This is my response for moving from 7.0 to 7.1 but can be done when moving to a new site as well. There isn't a way to automatically transfer Acuity from one site to another.

    What I did when I moved over to 7.1 was when the site was done I went ahead and clicked on the Scheduling tab on the new site which will start a new trial. I copied everything over and then I went in and changed the scheduling, link custom URLs on the old account to something random , and changed the random ones on the new account to what I needed them to be with the custom URLs. 

    It's important that you have the right URLs on the active Scheduling account before you delete the old site if you're going to. I did not do that, and it was a headache to fix.

    The only subscribers that will receive your automation or ones that sign up via the newsletter form. You will be presented with an option to send an email to an imported list but from my testing they still won't get automations if they're manually imported even if you try to trigger it with that first email

    You can use a native form and connect it to the Google Drive for your workspace in the settings. Here are the instructions to do that.

    All my stuff is on my site. I hide the headers and footers to make landing pages. As soon as I get home I’ll share one with ya.

    Squarespace is great at integrating with your site, but it is lacking in automations, workflows, things like that. I came over from Mailchimp/Flodesk and do miss the more in depth workflows, but it also forced me to simplify my mailing strategy.

    As an author the first thing I looked for was clear communication on what authors need to know. With AI and everything else to stay on top of you may get pushback. I would hate for a cool service like this to go away due to someone not understanding and causing issues.

    I don't have experience with developing but I do have experience with captioning, writing, and marketing. I'll help in any way that I can. Just let me know if any of that will be helpful.

    My other question is that on the same website, I love the Search symbol to the right on the header. When you click on the magnifying glass symbol, the whole menu disappears and is replaced by a search bar. Does anyone have a code for that?

    Don't know how to implement it but wanted to suggest if you do it to have it where the person manipulating the site has to start it instead of stop it. Autoplay anything isn't great accessibility practices.

    I use my PayPal debit all the time for all the Squarespace services. I would check on PayPal's end and see if the problem is there.

    Just checked my account (I'm also Pro) and was able to toggle on and off the watermark. The only thing I can think of is did you accidentally sign into the wrong account?
