Hi all -

I am a js developer learning this system and building out a squarespace site. I'm trying to understand the blog/template system. 

I have created a collection of blog posts, and it seems to be working fine.

However, I'm wondering if/how I can edit the template layout. When i create a new blog page I choose from only 3 templates. I can edit the template, but it seems really limited.

For example, can see a menu where I can change a few things, but could I display the date in another location on the page, for examaple?

Could I put the categories down near the bottom of the page?

Or am I generally limited to this core template structure, with some options?

hi all-

I am a front-end developer who is using squarspace to make a website, and really enjoying it. I am stuck on the simplest thing!! 

I just want to have something like:

Page A

 - subpage 1

 - subpage 2

 -subpage 3

And when users see my navigation at the top, they see Page A automatically in the top nav, but when they hover that link they'll see a dropdown for subpages 1,2,and 3.

I found out how to add a dropdown, but it looks like that's not a page, it's just a link in the nav that doens't go anywhere. I'd like to have the parent link at the clickable to a page, too. I'm pretty sure Im missing something - anyone have any suggestions?
