  1. I am closing this question. I see the 'past event' when I click IN an upcoming event, scroll to the bottom and navigate backwards on the now visible event(s).
  2. Creedon, When I attempt to log into the Customer Support portal link you provided, 'Logging In' simply returns me to the same page. I can click no further for the support I seek. I have closed and re-opened a fresh (Chrome) browser.
  3. Ziggy, Wow a re-design for an incremental update? Is Squarespace support only monitored by non-Squarespace staff? ie 'Community Members'? I was under the impression that with a paid subscription, there would be dedicated support for a hosted site with a ticketing system (accountability). How do I get a 'premium' dedicated support model on either this platform or another? thanks
  4. Hello, I have Past Events that I can see in my Website page but wish to SHOW those on the same live web page. Although there is an option to check them (to 'show past events'), there is no save option to then publish them to my live web page. <see screenshot> This is to allow customers to see my past events (automatically via Squarespace design) and will help me drive new customers to use my business. I am using version 7.0 of Squarespace, I believe. How do I publish those past events easily?
  5. Hello, I noticed my website is running version 7.0 How do I get it migrated to version 7.1?
  6. Cass, Thanks for testing but note that my site is using 7.0 (can you validate this?) At any rate yes I can select all past events but 1) there is no "save" feature and 2) after all selected, they still don't show at bottom of my "Upcoming Events" page. Is this because I'm on 7.0 or because there is no "save" or "publish" button to effect those choices earlier checked? How can I get the same result as you did with your testing? Jeff
  7. Hello, I have the option to click and edit the Navigation of my (I believe) my top menu bar of navigation, but clicking so does nothing. I do not see any further tools to utilize. thank you
  8. Cass, Thanks. What if I set up the 'past events' page as the same type of collection page as the 'upcoming events' page? To look at it another way, how did I get all those previous future events (up to Dec 31st 2022) to automatically show up in the 'past events' page (then stop doing that behavior)? So, reading the article you posted, it states (version 7.0): In the Events section, check or uncheck Show past events....but where is the events section in the Styles panel? Navigating back to my Future Events page, I see I can check "Show Past Events" however I don't see any save option (see screenshot) Reading further, I see that past events page supports up to '30 past events' (which is fine) but mine stopped last year. Can you tell if the page type was changed at some point? I had a past editor working this page, fyi but wish to have the future events go the past events page automatically as the date passes. Finally, there are 2 versions of Squarespace? 7.1 vs 7.0 Can I not get the latest version? Jeff
  9. Hi Cass, Apologies for the late response as I was on tour until Monday. The "added events since Dec" were/are all in my "Upcoming Events" page (https://taystthenotes.com/upcoming-events) ...and as they come to pass, I'd like them to automatically appear in the "Past Events" page (https://taystthenotes.com/past-events) even if there are a finite amount of events that show there. Is there a way to resurrect now passed events to the Past Events page? Here is a screenshot of the various types of pages I have thus far utilized. What would need to change to get the behavior I seek for "Upcoming Events" and "Past Events"? Thank you, Jeff
  10. Here is that page link: https://taystthenotes.com/past-events I’m not sure you can actually tell any issues from viewing the page but the fact that it is showing a previous event from over seven months ago is the issue.
  11. I am seeing an issue on both my Instagram page and past events page where the only most recent past event is from December 31, 2022. I’ve had more events since then, but they are not displaying at all. FYI, these particular pages is set up as a “blog”. This kind of page was recommended. I believe from this community for past events and my Instagram page. Please advise if this is not correct or any adjustments I need to make to fix the past events and Instagram page. thanks
  12. Totally fixed.. Thanks so much creedon and Paul2009 for helping. Have a great one!
  13. Absolutely game to try....Please share the CSS to remove and I will give it a shot...Many thanks to both of you
  14. hey Paul2009, that is helpful. Tell me though, when you say "I was viewing the actual event, not the Event list" where/How are you getting to an actual event if not through the "Upcoming Events page > list of upcoming events? Also, where you mention seeing some custom CSS code (see below)...where do you see that because the person that set up my site added the following attached code to deal with mobile devices seeing the site well-formatted. Is that what you see? and if 'visitors to my site' from clicking on events in the 'upcoming events' page wondering how you and creedon are. ############# h1,h2,h3 {-webkit-hyphens: manual !important; -moz-hyphens: manual !important; -ms-hyphens: manual !important; hyphens: manual !important;} p {text-align: center; hyphens: none} h1,h2,h3 {text-align: center; hyphens: none} .form-wrapper .field-list .field .field-element { width: 100%; padding: 12px; margin: 6px 0 4px; border: 2px solid #0000dc; background: transparent; box-sizing: border-box; } .eventlist-title {pointer-events: none; cursor: default;} .eventlist-meta-item {text-align: center} a:hover {color: rgba(0, 0, 220, 0.5)} a:hover.BlogList-item-image-link {opacity: 0.7; filter: alpha(opacity=50)} a:hover img {opacity: .7; filter: alpha(opacity=70);} form {width: 80%; margin: auto; position: relative;} input {height: 40px;} .tweak-header-primary-nav-hover-style-spotlight .Header-nav .Header-nav-folder {border:2px; border-style:solid; border-color:#0000dc} .tweak-header-primary-nav-hover-style-spotlight .Header-nav .Header-nav-folder-item {color: #0000dc; font-family: Roboto; font-weight: 300; font-size: 14pt} Header.Header--top {position:fixed; z-index: 1000; width: 100%; border-bottom: 2px solid #0000dc; height: 70px; background-color: rgba(255, 240, 192, 0.95)} footer {font-size: .6em;} .tweak-mobile-bar-top-fixed .Mobile-bar--top {position:fixed; z-index: 1000; width: 100%; height:70px; border-bottom: 2px solid #0000dc}
  15. Before I go that route, here is my navigation: load this URL https://taystthenotes.com/upcoming-events at this point nothing on this page is clickable please validate I just tested this on a AWS VM in the East region of the US. This takes the my ISP out of the equation as I'm using my work related network to do the test you both are reporting clickable links. Are you perhaps validating under an administrator context? Nothing clickable in the below screenshot for me:
  16. There is no adblocking, upstream at the router, ISP, etc that I'm aware of. I'm flummoxed as to how y'all are seeing the changes. I guess that's a good thing, because at the end of the day, visitors can access the links I designed into the Event. Why multiple devices in my home cannot is a mystery at this point. However, I will open a ticket with Spectrum, our ISP, to see if they are filtering some html functionality that squarespace is pushing.
  17. Thank you, that's nuts! I've tested on 6 different devices in my home, iPad Pro, iPhone8, iPhone 11, iphone 12, Macbook pro and windows10. All on the following browsers: Safari, Chrome, Edge. What is your platform?
  18. Also, when I edit an upcoming event under Pages, and go to the Location tab, I do see the map, etc. <see below> ..yet, on the live site, nothing..no clickable link to the venue nor a map as you can see in the editing side of the house.
  19. Apologies for the late response... Here is a screen grab of an upcoming event...Following your navigation to Home >Design > Site Styles and scrolling to bottom I do not see location available, still.
  20. Thank you, you may be right but under Design > Site styles there is no EVENTS Header as in your screenshot.
  21. Site URL: https://taystthenotes.com/upcoming-events I have an "Upcoming Events" page and a "Past Events" page that are the same content. The Upcoming Events gets posted to the Past Events as the date passes, but the hyperlinks to the location only work after the event has past. I'd like visitors to be able to click on the name of the venue on the "Upcoming Events" page and it link them to the venue. It doesn't do that until the event ends up on the "Past Events" page. I've checked the Locations tab on the Event and have the address there but I think that only creates the map, but that too doesn't show via anything 'clickable' in the Event itself. All of the configurable objects in Event Editor (map, venue URL, calendar ICS, et al) only work *in the editor*. The actual live page is just text of the event...See my Site URL above for example. Attached is a screenshot of what I see in the editor. thanks
  22. I really appreciate the information Tuanphan, thank you
  23. Site URL: http://TaystTheNotes.com Hello, I was troubleshooting my site not displaying inline images correctly and saw a previous web admin had placed this code at the site level. I pulled it out and that seemed to help my issue with the images. Not sure it's related but wanted to understand what this code does exactly. ,h1,h2,h3 {-webkit-hyphens: manual !important; -moz-hyphens: manual !important; -ms-hyphens: manual !important; hyphens: manual !important;} p {text-align: center; hyphens: none} h1,h2,h3 {text-align: center; hyphens: none} .form-wrapper .field-list .field .field-element { width: 100%; padding: 12px; margin: 6px 0 4px; border: 2px solid #0000dc; background: transparent; box-sizing: border-box; } .eventlist-title {pointer-events: none; cursor: default;} .eventlist-meta-item {text-align: center} a:hover {color: rgba(0, 0, 220, 0.5)} a:hover.BlogList-item-image-link {opacity: 0.7; filter: alpha(opacity=50)} a:hover img {opacity: .7; filter: alpha(opacity=70);} form {width: 80%; margin: auto; position: relative;} input {height: 40px;} .tweak-header-primary-nav-hover-style-spotlight .Header-nav .Header-nav-folder {border:2px; border-style:solid; border-color:#0000dc} .tweak-header-primary-nav-hover-style-spotlight .Header-nav .Header-nav-folder-item {color: #0000dc; font-family: Roboto; font-weight: 300; font-size: 14pt} Header.Header--top {position:fixed; z-index: 1000; width: 100%; border-bottom: 2px solid #0000dc; height: 70px; background-color: rgba(255, 240, 192, 0.95)} footer {font-size: .6em;} .tweak-mobile-bar-top-fixed .Mobile-bar--top {position:fixed; z-index: 1000; width: 100%; height:70px; border-bottom: 2px solid #0000dc} I appreciate your feedback.
