I gave this another search and found tried this method using jQuery. I altered the code and used the following:

Just for other folks using Universal Filter like I am for this example.
Is this response entirely accurate? When I go to add a Portfolio it's directly under "Collections"... It seems it is a collection post type but Squarespace have chosen to not enable the tagging and categorization.
I also need this feature to catalog decades of creative work and the blog post format just isn't flexible enough.
