Why can't we view the total number of active subcriptions?

It would be really useful to be able to view a dashboard/overview of active subscriptions. We sell products on one SKU and the same product under subscriptions that has a differing SKU, this makes the SS inventory function completely useless for us and we need to be able to, at a glance, account for upcoming subscriptions.
