blix reacted to oportoraro in Displaying Product as Sold Out
Site URL: https://www.silvergroveheights.com/
Hi Everyone,
I am trying to display the words "Sold Out" before clicking on the actual product. Currently "Sold Out" is only visible when you click on the product and then click on the variant drop down. Does anyone know how I can make it so that the product status shows from the products page?

Has this issue been resolved. REcaptcha only working in edit mode? My client is receiving a lot of spam coming from her contact form. Thank you.

blix got a reaction from SquareRefresh in summary block
Site URL: https://peggyshiffrin.squarespace.com/
Hello, is there anyway you can make my summary block un-clickable. I just want the images to show as they do without anyone be able to click on it for more info. It's only going to be set up like this for for a few weeks. It's a summary block that I put on a page called shop.

blix reacted to Chris.SE in [Feature Request] Can we please Set the Default Color Theme Again in 7.1?!
We used to be able to change the default color theme on templates, but then inexplicably that feature was removed.
It is actually an important feature because now not all templates are created equal. It MATTERS which template you start with because they all use different default color themes.
Want to switch directions down the road? Too bad, you have to start all over or mess up your color theme structure.
Squarespace, can we please get the ability to change the default color theme again?
I don't have any contacts at Squarespace to communicate these needs to so the best I can do is post here and hope it makes it to their eyes and ears. Any help in amplifying this request is much appreciated!

blix reacted to kindandbrave in Add Category to Breadcrumbs on Product Page
Y'all! @paul2009has SOLVED this issue. Honestly I'm not sure how he did it, because I've spoken to other SS experts on the matter and they had no idea/told me it wasn't possible to get breadcrumbs.
BUT he did it! He created a plugin that's super affordable here: https://sf.digital/breadcrumbs-extension
It's so so so worth it! The instructions they provide after purchase are easy to follow and the breadcrumbs work perfectly on desktop. For now they are hidden on mobile, because of the size of the screen—but honestly desktop is where it was necessary.
Thank you thank you thank you, Paul!

blix reacted to derricksrandomviews in What advice would you give to someone just starting out on personal branding?
For a professional artist or photographer, just stick with your own name in the logo. It isn't unique or original to do that, but for those two groups, who they are, and what they do, are inseperable.

Can I say my own? It was my first Squarespace Site . I really had no idea how to do it. The platform was so different from the previous site I built for my business, hosted by Microsoft. Using Avenue on Squarespace 6 which I think was six years ago, was so much better than any other platforms I had experience with. Like day to night if you ask me. Actually, the very first site that I looked at on Squarespace which really inspired me, the one that made me decide to become a member of the Squarespace community of builders and users, was this one:
