  1. Thanks Tuanphan, but Web_Solutions provided me with the code to do this via PM.
  2. Hi, It is very much WIP!! https://leopard-lizard-7wg6.squarespace.com/ pass ThanksforHelping
  3. We like the navigation style of this website https://domani.be. The burger flips out the navigation menu horizontally for larger screens, and reverts to the mobile-style overlay for smaller screens and mobile. Is it achievable with Squarespace 7.1? Maybe with a plugin... if anyone knows either code or a plugin that would work, please let me know! thanks
  4. Hi, Thanks for the simple code for permanent text overlay Tuanphan, it is working great for me. But I would like to change the colour of the text from the usual desktop overlay, however the code below doesn't change the color, any idea why? thanks @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .portfolio-text { opacity: 1 !important; color:#E9F3F2 !important; } }
  5. jaeveedee and tuanphan Apologies for the delay in responding, partly because I can't figure out why I am not getting notifications of replies despite being subscribed, and I have been off work for a while too. We may upgrade to a business plan so I'm going to sort that first and then return to this issue. Many thanks for the input!
  6. Thanks for the suggestion but as I mentioned, I am on a Personal Plan for now, so I can only add code into the Custom CSS section under 'Webtools'. That's why I thought I would need to target the page using CollectionID. I thought another approach might be to suppress the footer on that page and create a fake footer block under the portfolio. But then I still see the 'Lightest 1' theme background below the 'fake' footer, and it doesn't carry through to the individual galleries either. Maybe need to wait until we upgrade the plan! thanks
  7. Hi - sorry for late response, I didn't get a notice of a reply for some reason (Follow topic is enabled!). The Footer currently is Lightest 1. The main page ('projects') is 'Lightest 1'. I would like the second portfolio page to be 'Lightest 2', including the footer. Site is in very early stages... but here is link https://leopard-lizard-7wg6.squarespace.com/ thanks
  8. As per title, I was wondering if it is possible to change the footer theme on one page. I would like this one Portfolio page, including the header and footer, to be the 'Lightest 2' theme. The header is set to Dynamic, so it is updating to match the content block below when I set that to 'Lightest 2', but the footer has no option for 'Dynamic'. Is there a way to change the footer theme through Custom CSS and the collection ID (I am currently on a Personal Plan)? I am not well versed in CSS so be gentle! 🙂
  9. Having changed the site to password protected so that it could be viewed from the link, I have found that the site runs smoothly when not being edited/designed.
  10. I have just started putting together a new site based on the FlatIron template. All I have so far is a home page with 5 galleries, about and contact pages. I have set the background colour for all sections of the site to duck-egg blue (hsl(180, 20%, 85%). All good so far. However, when navigating between pages, there is a very clunky process of page loading, and a white page flashes up and is on screen long enough to be irritating (actually even a flash of white would be irritating). I have noticed that I often need to click navigation items twice before I actually move to the target page. The first click causes the current page to disappear, I get a blank duck egg blue page, then a flash of white page, and am returned to the page I was on. On the second click all the same happens but I do end up on the required page. It doesn't happen all the time, but something is surely wrong here? Any ideas welcome (I'm pretty inexperienced at all this!) Site URL: https://spinach-jaguar-ysxj.squarespace.com/ pass:threeislands
