  1. Hi,

We noticed over time that many blog posts shared on Facebook gets the following details added to their Facebook feed post: image, title, and description.

However, when sharing a Squarespace blog post on Facebook we only get the image and the title. No description.

It took us a while to understand the problem arise because Squarespace put og:type as "article" ...which I guess is technically ok. However, many other websites are aware of that limitation/bug and changed their og:type to "website" so FB users can get the first line of content (description).

This first line is critical to get people attention and give a sense of an actual blog post, not just a flat out link outside of FB. The visual and the impact on perception is major.

Is there any way we can get control over this?

First attachment have no first line (og:type "article") the other yes (og:type "website" even though it's a blog -- not a competitor, just for sake of demonstrating).

  2. Hi there,

Having fun with Squarespace 7.1 for the first time.

Is there a way to generate a number of unique discount codes in batch?

It is important for us to generate unique discount codes for our members. Creating them one by one is looooooooooong.

So we're looking for a way to generate them in batches, and ideally export them from Squarespace for easier distribution.

Alternatively, we're open to import coupons if this is also possible.

    Patrick
