  1. thanks for sharing the code. but it doesn't work at in my case. i already have another code with a #collection ID to adjust padding for an image on my homepage. so maybe that's why your above code doesn't work?
  2. Not yet. If you scroll down, it's the 2nd image block shown on Marie's homepage, just below the main image & video. You'll see a large rectangular photo of Marie in front of a building, and the right hand side showing a white text box with the words "Hi, I'm Marie. An entrepreneur, writer, philanthropist and an unshakable optimist dedicated to helping you become the person you most want to be". Followed by a "Learn More" button at the bottom. My client would like to have that same look
  3. oh ok thanks alot. so this will adjust the padding for all my client's pages? just curious, what does the above collection ID refer to in this case?
  4. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Hi everyone, Please refer to the following reference site https://www.marieforleo.com, the 2nd image & text block when you scroll down (i.e. "Hi, I'm Marie. An entrepreneur.....") My client would like to have a similar look as well for her 2nd image, i.e. a text box on the right allowing text to be written using different fonts types & sizes, overlaying a rectangle image that stretches across the entire page. I tried using Squarespace's available image blocks features (e.g. card, inline etc), but realized that it doesn't seem to have the above look. Will anyone be able to help? Using Brine template, Squarespace 7.0 John
  5. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content As I'm not familiar with CSS coding at all, I would like to ask a general question here about padding. How do I reduce (or adjust) the padding on the left and right hand sides for ALL my pages at one go? So that there's some white space between my content & the left and right edges of my desktop screen. Using Brine template, Squarespace 7.0
  6. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Hi everyone, Having some trouble with the spacing between code blocks for my client's side below: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content If you scroll down to the 2nd image block, you'll notice there are 3 different sets of additional text headings which i created using code blocks (h4, h5 & h6 headings), entitled "4th type of text heading...", "5th type text heading..." etc. But you'll also notice there's a huge spacing between these 3 code blocks as well as the "Learn More" button at the bottom. How do I reduce & adjust this huge spacing between these 3 separate code blocks and the "Learn More" button? Template used is Brine & version is Squarespace 7.0
  7. ok then. will repost each question as a separate post then, under this same category.
  8. Ok thanks alot. But how do i change the font colour, size & type for EACH individual image on its own? As whatever changes I make under the IMAGE BLOCK:POSTER applies to all 3 images, I need to make individual changes to each image instead, which requires CSS code.
  9. yes, that's right. how do i change the font type, size & color for the text links using CSS code?
  10. Hi tuanphan, so how do i do that here in the forum? do i need to repost each question as a separate post? to save time, can i email you the 4 questions again instead, as i need to solve them asap for my client?
  11. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Hi everyone, I'm currently making some changes to my client's homepage at the following link below & i need some help with the gallery images: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content. (Brine template, Squarespace 7.0) if you scroll down somewhere to the middle of the page, you'll notice a gallery of 3 images with text links to the various internal pages. Noticed that Squarespace doesn't give us the option of changing the font type, size or color of the text links. So how can I go about making such changes using CSS code? Thanks in advance! 🙂 Stay safe, John C.
  12. Site URL: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Hi everyone, My client has requested for several changes to be made to her website homepage & I'm not sure how to do some of the changes. And what CSS codes to key in. So hope someone will be able to help me out? I've attached the URL of my client's homepage below & the list of changes I need to make. Template used is Brine template, Squarespace 7.0 https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content (1) 1st change - please refer to the reference site https://www.marieforleo.com. You notice that the very image is a photo of Marie Forleo on the right & the large text on the left "THE WORLD NEEDS THAT SPECIAL GIFT THAT ONLY YOU"HAVE. My client would like to have the same design for her 1st image at the top which is an image block, using the same special font type & size seen on Marie Forleo's site. • How do I upload & insert this special font type & size to be used for the entire image block, to replace the default title & subtitle? (i.e. to replace the title "Hi I'm Suzan........" & the subtitle "I'm here to help you live a healthier.....") (2) 2nd change - please refer to the reference site https://bernadetteabraham.com/index.php, scroll down to the 2nd part below that shows "Hi, I'm B. Fitness & Nutrition Expert, Health Advocate....." My client would like to have the same design for her 2nd image which is also an image block, to replace the text that's currently shown (i.e. to replace the text "My passion is to empower people with cutting edge....") • How do I create the 3 different sets of font types, sizes & colors as shown in the reference site, as I understand image blocks by default only allow the title & subtitle (using font types provided by Squarespace)? • For the "Learn More" button, I'm unable to change the background color of the button under Site Styles. How do I change the background color of the button itself & position the button at the center instead? (3) 3rd change - my client's own homepage at https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content If you scroll down the page, you'll see I've integrated my client's Instagram feed and added a horizontal line just above the social media icons using the default line block. • Is there any way for me to add a heading just above the Instagram feed using CSS code (with the option of changing the font type & size), instead of just adding another text block? • As for the horizontal line, how do I increase its length (so that it will extend throughout the entire page) and size using CSS code? (4) 4th change - my client's own homepage at https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content Lastly, how can i adjust the padding on the left and right hand side of all the images seen, so that there is some amount of white space on the left & right hand side of these images? Hope someone can help me out with the above series of questions.....thanks in advance! 🙂 Stay safe, John C.
  13. Hi everyone, Have 2 questions to ask about text indenting and button design. (1) I know that Squarespace allows us to indent & justify whatever text we enter using the text blocks. But for me to have an indent similar to the "1st example.png" screenshot attached below, can I just use Squarespace's available features to do that or do I need to use coding? And if coding, what code do I need to use to get the same effect? (2) As for button design, how can i attach a button below my main text which brings me to another page on the site when clicked on? (i.e. something similar to the "2nd example.png" screenshot attached below showing the red "Learn More" button) Thanks in advance! 🙂 Regards, John C.
  14. Hi everyone, I'm currently having some trouble trying to get a small but clear resolution of my client's logo on her site, even though the original resolution of her logo is sharp & clear (around 1500 - 2000 pixels) I'm trying to reduce the logo pixel size to around 250 - 350 pixels while still retaining its sharpness. Despite numerous attempts in reducing / re-sizing the original logo, converting it to other formats (e.g. JPG), cropping the image etc, the logo either appears large and clear (i.e. the original size) or small & fuzzy. Any ideas on how I can reduce the size to make the logo small & clear instead? I'm using the Brine template Squarespace version 7.0. Regards, John C.
  15. i see, ok thanks. ok did that, the link to the homepage is shown below, but in this case the pink colour doesn't show up: https://suzan-terzian-draft.squarespace.com/homepage-content
  16. oh ok. will be happy to show the URL, but thing is it will only show the cover page, which my client wants to show at the moment since the site is not ready. and when i try to copy & paste the link for the homepage from the dashboard, it shows the cover page as well. so in this case, how do i actually share the link to the the homepage itself?
