Yes, I'm trying it in classic editor in 7.1 but don't see the options pop up!

The solution is the PRO tool from Squarewebsites. It's a Chrome extension that adds a button to your Chrome browser's toolbar that gives you new almost magical capabilities! It was designed by Michael in Ukraine 🇺🇦.

For example, here's a section containing a block layout that I want to copy. As you'll see below, there's a text block and and an image block. I can copy this layout of blocks by clicking 'COPY':

 

Having copied the blocks, I can click 'INSERT' to insert this block layout into my new section on a new page:

 

There's also a PRESETS option. This allows you to save your favourite layouts (the ones you've designed) and then reuse them over and over again!

I'm frustratingly working on a website which uses a 7.0 template (and I am having to relearn some basic things that I've learnt on 7.1). For some reason the site's mobile navigation doesn't become a hamburger. Do you know why this might be. I have various forms on my site, and separately have newsletter sign up blocks. However, is there a way of adding a newsletter sign up field on a form...it seems like an obvious feature that doesn't appear to be available. Surely anyone sending a contact form, for instance, should have the option whether or not to be added to a email database? Thanks

I have just launched a website, and I'm having issues with the layout of a portfolio page on mobile. On a desktop, the gallery on the portfolio shows two columns of images, which is correct. However, on a mobile I want this to become a single column - as this would also allow visitors to read the full caption. Hi, I've just launched a website, and I'm having problems with my last bit of coding to ensure it works smoothly. I've included some coding so my header reduces when you scroll through my site. However, I'm having problems with inverting my logo on every page except my home page when you view on a mobile and click the burger (before you start scrolling). The logo appears to remain black (it doesn't invert). Here's an example link (but it's the same on all pages apart from my home page: https://thecwordcomms.co.uk/about

This is excellent and I've successfully used it. However, how do I get rid of the red background....it seems to show up as a narrow red banner on mobile devices?

Can you please explain how to do this? I am using square space 7.1. I want to mention that I have never done website design of any kind up until a little less than a week ago. I am progressing but cautiously. So you might need to be very laymen in your explanation. Images help. I know I am asking for a lot.

This is what I would like to achieve and what I "believe" your have set up with your site:

Home page - portfolio page (simple layout with "buttons" of different categories) **not certain if button is the correct term** 

Sub pages -  each "button" on the home page links to either additional sub portfolios or content (galleries, texts, etc.) 

Essentially you could branch down as many sub categories as you want in as many layers deep as you want. With limitations apparently per your original intent of this post.

Hi,

I want to sell gift vouchers on my site and the closest way I can do it is by setting them up as gift card products. This all seems to work OK, but there seems to be some pre-populated details on the email notification when the gift card is purchased. I'm able to edit the look and feel of the email, but is there a way I can edit the pre-populated fields. I specifically want to edit/remove this line: To redeem your gift card, go to Site Title as well as replace any references to gift cards.

Hi all, I've just realised there's a limit to the number of sub pages you can add to a portfolio page. This has created a few issues as I need to add some more sub pages. I'm going to create more portfolio pages to break down the 'gallery collection'. Does anyone know whether or how you can move sub pages from one portfolio page to another? I'm told by Square Space that this functionality isn't available

I've noticed that when you place images in lightbox mode for some reason visitors to your site are unable to download/save as the images. Is this standard across all Square Space sites, and is there a way of making images downloadable for visitors?
