  1. Thanks! Last question, how do I get the content to be centered in the color block?
  2. This worked, but is there a way to get them all to be the same height/fill the full vertical space of the container?
  3. @tuanphan - I added that to this page https://koala-grape-9rm8.squarespace.com/services (use p4ssword to view)
  4. I am trying to create a color block section on a squarespace site similar to the attached screenshot. Any ideas how to make that happen?
  5. Site URL: https://horse-chicken-sh4g.squarespace.com/home-option-2-1 I am trying to get the text on my image blocks to be aligned to the bottom left - I've tried adding vertical-align: text-bottom; in css and it's not working. Any ideas? Password to access site is p4ssword
  6. Site URL: https://www.heatherwineryoga.com/ I have a client who sells individual yoga classes with a limit of 9 spots/class. She wants to offer a "package bundle" where someone could say get 5 classes for $50 (instead of $60). I have each of the classes set up as variants with the date so that we can monitor the total number of signups/class without her needing to create a new product every date there is a new class. One of the things I've thought of creating the class pass as a "gift card", then when they purchase that giving them a discount code they could use a checkout when they purchase their actual classes. Has anyone tried to do anything similar and had a good experience doing it?
  7. The solution I was thinking was to create the discount codes for those users with gift cards - sounds like that may be the best option. Thanks! Siena
  8. Site URL: https://www.heatherwineryoga.com/ Hello! My client had a previous system she used to sell gift cards, and is wondering if there is any way to import the unused ones to Squarespace to make them viable to purchase products through her website. Is there any way to do this?
  9. Site URL: https://www.heatherwineryoga.com/ I have a client that wants to remove the 24 hour deadline to download a purchased digital product. Does anyone know if that's possible?
  10. Hello - I am working on a site for a client and I need to send a specific link based on what a user purchases. The workaround I've done for this in the past was to make these digital products, and have a download with the link, but that is pretty hack-y and I would prefer to just be able to say "if user purchases x product, send them x URL" Has anyone done anything similar?
  11. Site URL: https://www.sienaleigh.com/ hello - I have a client who wants to be able to book appointments through her site and accept payment for the visit. She currently has her site on Wix and said it is an out of the box feature they have that she is using, so she doesn't want to invest in Acuity and pay the additional license fee. Has anyone used anything different that they like?
  12. Great, so glad it worked and I am glad I could help! I just started out back in January, you'll be a pro in no time!
  13. If you pull the banner out so it is in its own section, that code would work. Or, if you want to leave it authored as is, you can limit what is hidden to a single block by grabbing the blog ID and using this code in CSS. The same plugin that gives you the section ID's also provide individual block ID's. // hide about banner // @media only screen and (max-width: 768px) { #block-YOURID { display: none; } } Let me know if that works!
  14. You should be able to add this code to your css to hide that on mobile, assuming your banner is contained to a single section on your site. If it's not, you can author it so it stands in its own section and you can hide it To find the section ID, I use a Google Chrome plugin called "Find Squarespace IDs", but you can also inspect the code to find it. // hide about banner // @media screen and (max-width:767px) { [data-section-id="INSERT YOUR ID"] { display: none; } } Here is a screenshot of what the section ID will look like if you have it installed and use it
  15. It looks like there is a plugin here that supports what you are looking for - https://elfsight.com/number-counter-widget/squarespace/ I have not used this specific plugin, but everything I have used from elfsight has worked exceptionally well. Many of their widgets are free up to a certain number of page views, or relatively inexpensive if you pay. Good luck!
  16. I found kind of a hacky workaround that worked for my client, but it was pretty specific for their use case. They were not selling physical products, but taking deposits for appointments. So I used JotForm to setup the transaction through a form, and through that platform you can accept payment through square. You can embed the jotform form onto your site so the end user doesn't recognize there are multiple systems involved, and after the transaction you can direct a user to any page on your site. So it bypasses Squarespace's ecommerce transaction all together. Not sure if this workaround is applicable to anyone else here. Any of course my client is no longer taking appointments online, so I am not able to show an example of it working, but feel free to message me directly if you want to give this a shot and have questions. Good luck all!
  17. This is in place on two websites I have running - https://www.sienaleigh.com/ and https://www.notyouraveragemotherrunner.com/
  18. I've added this into my homepage code injection and it still isn't working - do you have a site on 7.1 where this is successful?
  19. Go to Design > Custom CSS and add the following (you can customize the font sizes to whatever works best with your design: /*Reducing font size for screens smaller than 640px*/ @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { h1 { font-size: 33px; }} @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { h2 { font-size: 26px; }} @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { h3 { font-size: 20px; }} @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { .blog-item-wrapper .blog-item-title h1.entry-title { font-size: 24px; }}
  20. I am having a similar issue, but I used to have my transparent nav bar transparent on only my homepage, and it recently stopped working. Here is the code I was using and an example of a site I used it on: //transparent header on hp// .homepage .header-announcement-bar-wrapper { background: rgba(0,0,0,0) !important; } sienaleigh.com
  21. Site URL: https://www.sienaleigh.com/ Hello! I have been using the following code to have a transparent header on ONLY my homepage for quite a few sites, and after this last release it no longer works. Is anyone else experiencing anything similar, and do you have ideas for workarounds? //transparent header on hp// .homepage .header-announcement-bar-wrapper { background: rgba(0,0,0,0) !important; } Here is an example of a site using this code that worked prior to the last release https://www.sienaleigh.com/
  22. Hello! I want to try something a little fun and have a color blocked section - I think I could find a way to do this using images, but I'd love to know if anyone has a way to set a section background to be different - basically what I want to do is have the background behind the outside two boxes of this be purple, and leave the middle one white:
  23. Site URL: https://www.moonlightgardensupply.com/ I am having a super weird issue where Facebook will not let me post my ad (see complaint in screenshot). Has anyone ever run into this issue with Facebook ads?
