I think this needs to be escalated to the top. Can we use Zapier by chance?

Is there any way to use a google calendar to create events is squarespace? My group has a google calendar that a few people can edit and I would like to use that as a basis for the events page on our website. I cannot keep track of every change to the google calendar and edit the squarespace page, so I gave up on having a squarespace calendar and embedded the google calendar. It works but it looks awful.

@paul2009 members area allows for anyone to access the site. We need to pre-qualify the person before entering the site. At this point you are only allowed to password protect "a page".
We have a wholesale page and I have a work around but it's convoluted at best. It's clumsy and really is not locked down. For now, they fill out the wholesale form. Once the email is received they receive the link to access the hidden page along with password. One password for everyone. If we need to change the password, I will have to notify everyone. It's not "personal account".
I have to look for another option.
I was so excited to see the members area and immediately signed up and purchased the license. After implementing it, I was disappointed. SO CLOSE.

I can not believe they do not offer a shipping per item. It seems squarespace wants to conduct business the old school way, the way business is done pre covid. There must be options.

eoddistillery reacted to KCTracks in Digital Products: Multiple Add To Cart buttons/Variants?
    Site URL: https://www.kctracks.com/
Greetings!  I have done a fair amount of custom CSS (~400 lines) and code injection on my new website without having to post here but I really would love some help now.
After all the time and effort I have put into building my site through Squarespace, and the experience being overall wonderful, I was devastated to find out that you cannot add variants on digital products.  That is all I will sell so this is very frustrating.
So, I'm looking for a workaround.  On any given product details page, can we:
    1.  Use a Button Block button in the Additional Details tab to mimic the true built-in Add To Cart button, but reference a different product that is hidden from the store?  In other words: the main Add To Cart button will add the product the user is viewing to the cart as intended. The second added Button Block button will be below, but its clickthrough link actually activates an Add To Cart script/procedure taken from a different product's page.
    OR
    2.  Force a variant dropdown to show up, and use the links in that dropdown to redirect the user to the necessary product details page which will have the proper product Add To Cart button.
    OR
Another more elegant workaround that I have not even thought of?
Thank you so much in advance for helping.  I hope this is not to complicated of a request.
My site is https://www.kctracks.com/ and until (if) I decide to purchase my plan, the password is kctracks.
EDIT:  So I have figured out one can add Product Blocks to a separate product's Additional Details section.  I have the Product Block only showing an Add To Cart button.  It's a tad clunky but it's a workaround.  If there's an even better way, I'm all ears!

I completely agree - I NEED customizable item-specific shipping rates. I'm scouring this forum and online message boards to see if anyone has found a work-around for this!

Just adding to this thread. I'm in the same position - selling very different items of size and weight. Would love if Squarespace could help out with selecting product-specific shipping.
To give the developers an example of how this is difficult for vendors, particularly at this time:
Australia Post became rather unreliable during lockdown in Melbourne. So it was important to me to be able to arrange a free click and collect option for those who were able to (within the 5km lockdown zone). during a print sale. I also think that if it's possible, this is a more environmentally-friendly option so I can deliver on bike or people pick up from me personally.
Some people unexpectedly used the free click and collect option on a totally different product option (zines) - people well outside the 5km zone, who I had no choice but to to post out to. I wore the very small cost of postage, but I think that if Squarespace could see how awkward this is, they could hopefully dream up a better solution for the Shop section than this.
    Thank you - Rebecca S

you would think with all the people asking for it they would implement item specific shipping. It's probably one of the most common requests I see in these forums and they're losing a lot of business because of it. I know several people who have left squarespace because of that and I'm looking at different options myself. Disappointing to say the least

Is it possible to create and send an invoice to a client? I used to use square before I switched to square space and it let me invoice clients.

Is Squarespace listening? There are a handful a common sense eCommerce features are missing here. E.g, create and send an invoice, change billing / shipping address.
I contacted the the CS, I was told that the way to change addresses is to ask the customer to cancel then reorder with the correct address. This is absurd. You are asking the seller to loss the customer for such a simple thing to change.
It appears SS does not listen to their customers. Please, someone must try to order something on a actual eCommerce site and see it for themshelves.

I would LOVE a way to invoice through Squarespace. Please let us know if we can look forward to this soon. I am considering the switch to Shopify because of this and the many more back end options they offer in B2B & B2C selling. Please update soon.
