Hey brains trust, I'm using the avenue template for a friends business. When it was originally built the company structure had both Residential and Commercial projects referenced in the one site. They've since grown and are wanting to be more direct in their website journeys for the very different customer sets.
The current site structure is really simple, Home page with Projects, Awards, About Us and Contact in the navigation.
My question to you is: Can I set up the navigation so that there are essentially two home pages:
- Residential
- Commercial
Users will navigate to their desired path from a welcome screen. Once in these journeys they will see different project contents, different about us, awards and contact forms. I've attached a very crude sitemap.
Some other things I'd love to be able to achive are:
- Once a user passes through the welcome screen it does not appear in the navigation
- Once a user is in the Residential or Commercial page then that page acts as a home page for their journey
- Users in the residential side will not see content for the commercial side in the main navigation
- Seperate form submission for residential and commercial (if this can be done with a drop down selection that could be great)
Thanks for the help legends.
