  1. That edit theme section is about changing the colors within the theme, and is not related to the specific page you currently have open. I believe that currently, the only way to change the color of products is from the store overview page (the one you go to when you click the shopping cart icon in the site nav.) Whichever backdrop you choose there will carry over to all the products.
  2. My company has a variety of products as part of a platform (not on sqarespace) where a shopping cart doesn't make sense as a CTA. I would like to use the functionality of the new store to sort and display products that customers might be interested in, but have the 'Add to cart' button instead take customers to a signup/register page. Is there a way to achieve this?
  3. @derricksrandomviews Giving up the 'product detail' page may be a no go with the rest of the team, but yea that sounds like the plan I'll advocate at least for now. I've been playing with it a bit, and might be able to get away with page header injections in each blog to style them differently (like have the default design include categories, and just display:none; in one of the blogs.) But what a pain... Was this a thing in 7.0, where theres only one style applied to all collections of that type?
  4. I had a bit of a shocking realization today - I tried building a second blog collection as an alternative to the store (which I find cumbersome to use.) The design settings I put in place for this new test blog were applied to my existing blog! Is it true that even if I make multiple collection items, there can only be a single style applied to ALL the collections of that type? Am I missing something on how to get around this (frankly insane) limitation? Edit: on 7.1
  5. I have a bit of code that applies color to tags in my summary blocks .summary-metadata-item--tags a{ color:#3b5ed8!important; background:#ced7f5!important; padding: 2px 4px 2px 4px; border-radius:4px; } Is there a way I can make this color formatting conditional based on the tag name?
  6. I'm trying to create a simple code (or markdown) block where I modify the color of a single word or phrase. Think something like: <div style="text-align:center;"> Look at this <span style="color:red;">colorful</span> text </div> If I try to apply <h> tags it overrides the colors, and if I try to size it manually it is not mobile responsive. Is there a way to make my text inherit the responsive size properties of my already defined <h> sizes?
  7. Try adding this to your custom CSS .item-pagination-title{ color:grey!important; }
  8. Interesting, thanks! I had been envisioning something like make the comma opacity 0, but this is cooler!
  9. That achieves the desired result, thanks! Is there no way to do it with just CSS? I don't know javascript at all so I don't understand what that script actually does.
  10. How do I target/hide/remove the "," between tags on a grid summary block in 7.1? I've successfully edited the tags themselves with .summary-metadata-item--tags a{ color:#3b5ed8!important; background:#ced7f5!important; } But can't figure out how to target that pesky comma! (site is under NDA, cannot link to)
  11. Sorry, its under NDA 😕 Is this not a thing on overlap blocks for other 7.1 sites?
  12. I've noticed an unusual problem: the line-height for my text is different in Overlap Image Blocks than it is across the rest of my site (it appears to just be overlap blocks, not other image block types.) Turns out something is applying a line height change, but I didn't add this! line-height: 1.5 !important; How do I target all overlap image blocks in my site with css, so that I can customize the line-height in a way that overrides this? I tried the following with no success: .sqs-block-image .design-layout-overlap .image-title { line-height: 1.2 !important; }
  13. I'm working in 7.1, and according to squarespace documentation Card and Stack image blocks should be able to put a backdrop color behind the text block. There is an example shown, but I cant find the settings for it anywhere (theres nothing in Image Blocks). Where can I find these settings, or is the documentation inaccurate about this feature?
