  1. Theres really no need for you to understand or agree with how someones else chooses to market and what they want their customer to experience. This is the first e-commerce site I've seen in the photography industry that still collects credit card information when a 100% off coupon is used. But unless you truly understand every business model, I find it hard to understand why you would push for an alternative.
  2. Not sure if this will help you, but goto Store Setting and check the Express Checkout box. This removes the shopping cart flow of a site, which is what I use.
  3. At this point I'll agree to disagree because I think your missing my point and the way I would prefer the customer to experience.!
  4. I say just fix what needs to be fix and make the most sense, because I don't have the time to always tinker with work arounds. Requesting credit card info on a 100% discount coupon and zero charge is crazy and makes me look shady to say the least.
  5. I reached out to support last night, and this is the replay I received. Simply there standard sort of response: "Thank you for reaching out to us! We are aware of this issues as this is a very common request from our customers! I will submit a suggestion ticket to our developers for you so they can explore a solution. I hope this helps! If you have any other questions please feel free to ask!"
  6. So wait! It still wants the credit card info from the customer at check out? If so, this is really not good!!
  7. Have you tried creating a 100% discount coupon code? I'm hoping this works, because I'll need to make sure people are not forced to enter credit card info for a free item.
