  1. Site URL: https://seadragon-pear-6ndb.squarespace.com/ password: op1 I'd like to slow down the fade transition -- and keep the text and photo transitioning at the same rate -- in my slideshow gallery on my home page. I have tried the following code and a few other variations, but all of the options I'm finding from past forum discussions are causing the text to fade in more quickly than the photo. Any ideas? .slide { visibility: visible !important; -webkit-transition: opacity 3s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: opacity 3s ease-in-out; -o-transition: opacity 3s ease-in-out; transition: opacity 3s ease-in-out; }
  2. Site URL: https://seadragon-pear-6ndb.squarespace.com/ https://seadragon-pear-6ndb.squarespace.com/ password: op1 I would like the light green block to span the full width of the page and be only about as tall as the red box indicated in the screenshot. I also want to make sure there isn't excess white space below the box when I remove that bottom portion of the green box. So far, here is the CSS I've tried. #yui_3_17_2_1_1582047611039_56 { padding: 20px 0px 0px 0px !important; background: #f1f5e6; } TIA for any help!
  3. I think I spoke to soon. It looks like it's working properly at the moment. THANKS!
  4. @tuanphan Thanks! That didn't seem to make any difference. When I flip to developer mode in Chrome I can see this piece of CSS (below in green) that I think might be behind it, but I'm not sure how to override it. Any ideas? <strong data-shrink-original-size="46" style="letter-spacing: 0.0217391em; font-size: 11px;">YOU BECAME ONE OF US.</strong>
  5. @tuanphan Not really. I've adjusted my images a bit to make a sort of workaround, but if you have any insight, I'd love a real solution.
  6. Hey @tuanphan, I haven't figured out a solution yet. The text size is still switching size when the slide changes. Only one of the three slides shows the large text (the correct size) and the others shrink it down very small. 😞 Definitely could use some expertise! I'm a novice and not sure what else to search for to try.
  7. Hey all! I'm really needing some help here figuring out why it's switching from slide to slide. Any suggestions?
  8. Site URL: https://seadragon-pear-6ndb.squarespace.com/ Any suggestions on how to add a tagline under the logo? In the site styles it gives me the option to show one or the other, but I'd like to display both. https://seadragon-pear-6ndb.squarespace.com/ password: op1 If it's going to be an issue to add it under the logo, I have an alternate plan. I've added a green bar under the slideshow banner, but I need some advice on how to use CSS so there isn't so much space above/below it AND so the text on that green bar shows as white instead of gray. I tinkered with it for a while, but I'm very much a novice and I'm stumped. I created that bar as a section on the index, and it just has a ton of space around it.
  9. Site URL: https://seadragon-pear-6ndb.squarespace.com/ I am using the slideshow in my homepage banner at https://seadragon-pear-6ndb.squarespace.com/ password: op1. I added the following CSS to adjust the placement of the text block with the goal of keeping the text from overlapping the faces in the photo when in desktop and tablet views. I am a novice at CSS, so all of this is experimenting with things I've found in various articles. .meta .meta-description p { text-align: left; vertical-align: top; max-width: 600px; padding-right: 30%; } @media screen and (max-width: 1024px){ .meta .meta-description p { text-align: left; } } @media screen and (max-width: 420px){ text-align: left; width: 100% !important; } Now, for some reason, the heading size has become inconsistent from slide to slide. You'll see screenshots of the correct view (the bigger green text) and the incorrect view (the tiny green text). Any advice on how to make it stay the same from slide to slide? That heading text size is currently set at 60px, but obviously that isn't staying the same across the board. Thanks so much in advance!!!
  10. OK, not sure I really want to switch templates. Any ideas? @tuanphan or anyone else out there? Any help is super appreciated!
  11. I guess I'm confused about what you're asking. I want to make the container for the text shorter in width and decrease the padding on the left. The text size itself is fine. It's just the positioning I'm trying to tweak. I might try a different template instead.
  12. @paul2009 I'm in the same boat. https://seadragon-pear-6ndb.squarespace.com/ Password: op1 I have my slideshow in the header with the horizontal versions of the images, but they don't work well on mobile, so I have added the three vertical versions in the page content so you can see them.
