  1. Site URL: https://www.weacceptcryptocurrency.com/ Squarespace defaults to showing either the site title or the site logo, but I want to show both in my Header. Is there a way to add this functionality with CSS? I have searched the forums and various other online tutorials and I can't seem to find anyone who's successfully done this on a Squarespace site.
  2. Site URL: https://www.weacceptcryptocurrency.com/ This site is my first experience with Squarespace and I generally like the platform, but my mind is blown about this. There is no way to add a search block to search one page (the page the search block is on...)? This seems like such a ridiculous and egregious lack of functionality that I'm almost wondering if I'm missing something. We run a resource site. We need users to be able to search the page (especially if they're on mobile) for specific content. Why would Squarespace only allow search functionality for blog posts, if it has the capacity to allow search functionality for any page? How does that make any sense? I mean that's maybe the stupidest intentional design decision I've ever heard of: "well we could allow search but we'll just allow it exclusively for blogs because no one would ever want to search a static page"... If we can't allow users to search each resource page we'll have to move to Wordpress. Am I missing something?
  3. Site URL: https://www.weacceptcryptocurrency.com/ I added the following code to my site to add a hovering underline effect to the navigation bar: .header-nav-item a:hover { text-decoration: underline; } The problem is that once you actually click on a navigation link, the underline goes way lower vertically than the hover effect. This causes two separate underlines when you scroll over the same page that you're on. It's a minor issue but looks bad. Is there a way to make all of the nav bar underlines stay at the same vertical position as the hover effect? I want the underlines to be right under the words, so that once a page is clicked there is no double underline upon hovering.
  4. Hi Christy, thank you so much! I had found a roundabout way to do it (was using "button" class rather than "burger-inner" class) but this looks way better. I added bold font and a border above the "Menu" button and I really like the way it looks. Adding the "X" when it opens is a great UX touch too so thank you for that! If you have any idea how to add the Site Title to all pages above a certain screen width (I'm thinking 300px based on screen testing) or if there is a resource you could point me to it would be amazing! I've looked all over these forums and on the web generally and I can't find any way to include both the logo and site title with CSS which I think would look 1000x better than having just the logo. Also if you accept cryptocurrency as payment let me know and I can list you on our site with a hyperlink!
  5. Site URL: https://www.weacceptcryptocurrency.com/ I've been speaking with users of my site recently to see how I can improve it, and nearly all of them say that they didn't even recognize the mobile menu icon as a menu. SquareSpace uses a hamburger icon with two lines rather than three, and people don't seem to recognize this as a menu. Would it be possible to replace the mobile hamburger menu with just the word "Menu"? I believe this would reduce bounce rate on my site significantly and improve user experience.
  6. Wow, thank you so much for this insightful reply. I just bookmarked that color picker resource. I used your code suggestion along with the HTML to bold the text and achieved the desired effect. Looks awesome!! I didn't even know you could add code blocks like that inside of other blocks (new to SquareSpace).
  7. Hi Tuan, no stress! I appreciate all of your help regardless! The period is already bolded. I wouldn't want to italicize or underline it because that would look weird on the page (just tested it). Unless you mean just italicize and underline to change color and then I can remove the italics or underline after?
  8. Hi Alex, thank you for your response. I believe this must be done with CSS rather than HTML because it's a specific color of green I want. It's not a standard green but the green that matches the logo color. The color code for this green, from the "Colors" tab in the "Design" section of the site, is: hsl(167, 89%, 38%). I don't exactly know what that stands for, but I figure the solution must be to have the text "refer" to that part of the color pallet of the site.
  9. Sure, I want to make this period the same color as the logo on the top-left of my homepage.
  10. Site URL: https://www.weacceptcryptocurrency.com/ I want to make the period at the end of my homepage header the same color as the logo of my site (in top-left). Is this only possible with CSS customization?
  11. Site URL: https://www.weacceptcryptocurrency.com/ I want to create an effect for the Desktop version of my site; when a user scrolls over header links they're underlined. This makes it more clear to users that the links are clickable and improves UX in my opinion. I tried looking for this problem in the forums but haven't found it. Any ideas would be much appreciated!
