Thank you for the reply! I've been updating a few things that were good seo updates in general, but realizing the migration was probably the biggest culprit. My old site is not an active site in my Squarespace dashboard. Is there anything I can/should do with it at this point? Also can you elaborate on "reconsider the content structure for your diverse audiences?"

Thank you for the reply! I will take a look at both of those. I have run my site through Ahrefs but I don't think I've used it to it's full potential. It's uncovered some issues I've been able to address but also I've never seen the warnings you've pointed out. I'm not sure if it's a difference of using it as a plug in vs running the scan on their site, or because I am using the free version. I'm going to dig into the scan it gives more and see if I am missing other details.

I am at a loss as to what to do. My site for years was always ranking in the top 3 for search results for my local keywords. But I wasn’t happy with the flow of my site, and thought with being in the top search results I was not getting the amount of traffic and inquiries I would expect to see. So August 2023 I purchased a website template and had a web designer install for me. I then updated it with all my content. (Designer could not create the new layout in my current Squarespace site. So she created the new site in my dashboard, and when it was completed it was transferred to me and I moved my domain there.) Ever since then my ranking have continued to fall. At first it was a “small” fall to ranking between 5-10. Which I chalked up to the change, but expected it to bounce back. But I am now currently between ranking 9-25 in search results for all but one keyword (which I still rank in the top three). When I check Google search console I have no errors. When I check Google page speed I do rank low for load speed (but so do all the local competitors I’ve checked who are ranking above me). Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO all rank at almost 100. I’ve used multiple third party tools, and none show me anything that would account for what I’m seeing. Anyone have ideas of what I could be missing that is dropping my search rankings?
