JayneC_SQSP's post in Connecting squarespace domain (formerly google domain) to my new squarespace website was marked as the answer
Hi @Alejandro50, it looks like this issue has been resolved after connecting with our Customer Support team.
For @mcb-joesplace, I see that you have domain forwarding set up for your domain. This is not necessary when connecting a Squarespace domain to a Squarespace site, and I recommend you remove the domain forwarding rule. The information in these guides may be helpful to review:
Forwarding a Squarespace domain - Remove domain forwarding

JayneC_SQSP's post in I don't see my Google Workspace domain in domain section was marked as the answer
Hi there, thank you for posting here.
When you register a Squarespace domain through Google Workspace, your account with Squarespace is created using the custom Google Workspace email address you registered alongside your domain.
Follow the steps in our guide to sign into your account:

JayneC_SQSP's post in Cannot transfer ownership of the domain was marked as the answer
Hi @AndGov, thank you for posting here.
It sounds like you may be updating the domain contact information rather than changing ownership of the domains. Changing ownership of a parked domain requires that you move the domain to another site, first. We have step-by-step instructions in this guide:
Managing domain permissions - Update the domain owner
If you encounter any trouble while moving the domains, and for any others experiencing a similar issue, please reach out to our Customer Support team directly, here:

JayneC_SQSP's post in I can't get the domain to forward with www attached was marked as the answer
Hi @trudibarrow. Thank you for posting here.
It sounds like you may need to add the "www" CNAME record pointing to ghs.googlehosted.com. In addition to this CNAME record, you'll need a domain forwarding rule that directs your root domain (yourdomain.com) to the "www" subdomain (www.yourdomain.com).
See our guide for step-by-step instructions:
Connecting your Squarespace-managed domain to a Google Sites site: Adding the domain forwarding rule

JayneC_SQSP's post in Remove www or not? was marked as the answer
Hi @aholm, thank you for posting here.
Each search engine is different, and each one (like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.) uses different factors to rank sites that are kept secret and change frequently. We build all known SEO best practices into every Squarespace site, but due to the complex algorithms that power each search engine’s technology (and everyone’s marketing needs are unique), we’re unable to provide specific SEO advice to our customers.
That being said, we do have some resources in this guide that go over those built-in SEO tools and some tips for using them:
What Squarespace does for SEO
We also offer a free, one-hour webinar where we cover SEO best practices and how to use our built-in tools to increase your site's visibility online. Learn more and register here:

I hope this helps!

JayneC_SQSP's post in Steps when changing domain provider from GoDaddy to SQSP with existing Google Workspace was marked as the answer
Hi @LouiseDrever, thank you for posting here.
If your client has an existing Google Workspace account for their domain, it's not possible to "link" their email account within the Google Workspace panel of their Squarespace site. Instead, they'll continue paying for and accessing their account through Google directly after transferring their domain to Squarespace. Learn more in our guide:
Using Google Workspace with Squarespace - Can I integrate an existing email account?
We have tips on transferring a domain to Squarespace here, including information on reviewing the domain's DNS records following a transfer:
Transferring a domain to a Squarespace site - Step 8: Review DNS settings (optional)
I hope this helps!

JayneC_SQSP's post in How does one mark invoices in scheduling as "Paid" if they are paid in cash? was marked as the answer
Hi everyone, thank you all for sharing your feedback on this.
If you’re referring to invoicing for Acuity Scheduling, you can manually mark an invoice as paid in the Invoices panel. See our guide for details:
Sending invoices with Acuity Scheduling - Mark an invoice as paid
Some of you may be referring to Squarespace’s Invoicing tool, which is separate from Acuity Scheduling.
With this tool, invoices are automatically marked as paid once payment is submitted through the invoice’s payment page. At this time, if a customer pays separately, it’s not possible to manually mark the invoice as paid. Learn more about Squarespace’s Invoicing tool here:
Invoicing clients - How clients pay invoices
Please note, Squarespace doesn't monitor this forum for feature requests, as noted in our Forum Guidelines. That said, we are always working to improve our platform, and your input goes a long way. We encourage you to submit your feedback to our Customer Support team directly, here:

JayneC_SQSP's post in Issue with generated URL, hash being added, index links wont work was marked as the answer
Hi @cidrux, thanks for posting here! It sounds like your site is built on our version 7.0 platform.
Index pages on version 7.0 are made of a combination of multiple subpages. You can link to specific subpages using anchor links, which are created automatically for index subpages. The # in the URL tells the browser which subpage to load, and the way the URL is formatted depends on the template your site uses.
See our guide for more details:
Adding index page anchor links in version 7.0
The information in this guide may be helpful to review, as well:
