Nondys got a reaction from kyliebourjaily in How to Hide Time on the Pop Up of an Event Calendar
Site URL: https://www.moffittsmermaids.com/packages
Hello! I was hoping someone would be able to help me disable the time on an event calendar on hover? I was able to hide the time on the calendar but when you hover over the date it still shows up.
I'm not sure how to find the right code when I inspect the page since when I hover over the event day the inspect tool doesn't really work... not on hover anyway.
Here is an image of my calendar now.
How do I hide the time of ALL events on Hover?
You can view this page at moffittsmermaids.com/packages
Thank you so much!

@paul2009 It worked! I think I love you hahahahahaha.
Yeah that was tricky for me, I couldn't figure out how to locate the proper code if my mouse couldn't hover over the actual pop-up when I'm on the inspect tool.
Any suggestions on how I could find it the way you did? I'd love to know this trick haha

Nondys reacted to Nick_SquareKicker in How to embed borderless, autoplaying, looping videos on Squarespace
(12 April 2022) - THIS POST IS OUTDATED - SQUARESPACE HAS REMOVED THE EMBED '<>' FEATURE ON VIDEO BLOCKS. TO USE THIS METHOD YOU NOW HOW TO ADD YOUR IFRAME IN A EMBED BLOCK. HOWEVER YOU ALSO NEED SOME EXTRA CSS TO MAKE THE IFRAME FILL THE EMBED BLOCK. SEE ANSWER IN POST BELOW.
The best way to do this is to use a squarespace block, Vimeo or Youtube.
I have used the below code inside Squarespace's video block. But instead of adding the link, you can click <> and insert this code below but change out your video ID.
This makes the videos autoplay and loop. You can adjust the controls and sound (background), etc too. See below and screenshot attached for reference.
For an example: I am using it on my SquareKicker website here: https://squarekicker.com/features
Just swap out the Vimeo / YouTube ID number for yours.
VIMEO
<iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/625215456?autoplay=1&loop=1&autopause=0&background=1&muted=1&color=ffffff&controls=0&portrait=0" width="800" height= "500" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe>
YOUTUBE
<iframe width="100% !important" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/oyuCciYX2S4?playlist=oyuCciYX2S4&autoplay=1&mute=1&controls=0&loop=1" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; " allowfullscreen></iframe>
Note: Youtube needs a playlist to loop the video, just use the same video ID

Nondys reacted to WraySinclair in How to add clickthrough URL to custom CSS image
I've got image blocks that are set to clickthrough to another page. I wanted those images to have a hover over effect and I have found the code for that but it only works when you add a custom css block to the page. So I get the image to show up but so far can't find a way to link a URL to it. Is there anyway to link a clickthrough URL to a custom css code? Below is the code i'm using
<img src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/53407622e4b0f0bdc6e387dc/t/5dcf181f66e4061a93334439/1573853226998/WinterWandering.jpg" onmouseover="this.src='https://static1.squarespace.com/static/53407622e4b0f0bdc6e387dc/t/5dcf18cc3563fc67fd558d75/1573853393669/WinterWanderingv2.jpg'" onmouseout="this.src='https://static1.squarespace.com/static/53407622e4b0f0bdc6e387dc/t/5dcf181f66e4061a93334439/1573853226998/WinterWandering.jpg’"> The link to the page i'm trying to do it is here www.wraysinclair.com/film - the top one is how I want the clickthrough to work, and the bottom image is how I want the hover effect to work.
Does anyone know any code that I could add a clickthrough URL to my custom css block? Specifically the url I want to link to is www.wraysinclair.com/winter-wandering

Yes! I have been searching the web too and just found code to do this. First you need parallax enabled in the Site Design. This code will disable it on any standalone or index page you specify.
You first need to look up the data-parallax-id that is specific to the background image. Then just replace it in the code below, and add to your custom CSS.
[data-parallax-id="PLACE ID HERE"] figure { transform: none !important; top: 0 !important; bottom: 0 !important; will-change: auto !important; }

This is great!! Worked for me also.
Anyone have any modifications to this code so that the parallax effect can be disabled on standalone pages for JUST mobile?
