An unfortunate work around might be to create a section styling the end notes how you want and then save that and drop it in each time you create a blog post.

Thanks @tuanphan that helped. There's some awkwardness with alignment and I had to make some adjustments. You can see the code adjustment I made and also the image of how it displays. span.header-nav-folder-item-content { font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-right: 20px; margin-left: 20px; display: inline-block; }

Is there a way to add spacing between navigation links in the drop down menu? cc: @tuanphan In addition to adding spacing between the folder links, I'd like to add additional padding to the folder itself so it's a little larger in size. For my website I'm using version 7.1 and wanting to add a section on my homepage that would have a space for a featured blog post. The only problem is that I cannot seem to find anything like an image block that will connect to the blog posts I create. HALP 🙂

So, to follow up. I added a blank page and added an Events component to the page. Which is different than using an Events page from what I'm finding. This is very confusing because the Events component uses the same layout from the events page. But to your point, yes it will show past events, if not disabled, on an events page layout.

This is a great project and nice website. At a quick glance I just have a couple pieces of feedback. 1) I would consider moving some of the stories on your homepage either to a dedicated page or reduce the amount you have shared. 1.2) I would make it clear what that section is by adding a small headline above the image tiles and maybe a background colored shape different from the white background to anchor that section a bit more. 2) I’d space out the links in your navigation on mobile and I’d consider a different font for your body copy. A sans serif possibly. hope this helps 🙂 -
Thank you! I ended up just using a blank page and adding a blog component. The frustrating thing is not being able to push live updates to facebook... I'll give yours a try to see if it works.

I'm working on a page similar to this. And with the standard Events Page layout there is no option to add a button under the excerpt. I know the entire area is clickable, but a button really helps visually. Can anyone help me with some custom code to add buttons to each? Additionally, it's really disappointing that I can't customize the layout of the page once I've clicked into an event. Will Fluid Engine editor be applied to that as well?

Thanks for any help you can provide. I can say that I have been creating a more custom layout with full screen images on blank pages and you cannot do that with the standard out of the box blog page. Fluid engine is great but missing in a few areas such as customizing blog layouts and blog pages.

Multiple messages in the Announcement bar component

It would be a potential benefit to have a carousel for the announcement bar component. I suppose the multiple lines is a good point, I would just hate making the announcement bar taller than necessary by adding multiple lines of copy. Thanks for your help! -

Funny enough, the Squrespace forums have this in their navigation with a very nice animation to them too.

You can see in the screenshot attached, that when hovering on "skate" from the mega menu there is a black bar that is displayed. There are zero themes offering that at 7.1

Am I missing something, did hover states go away for Navigation in the 7.1 release? This is a sad miss given that it helps with usability.

@tuanphan This code worked for me., thanks for your help. I would also like to bold the active link & underline in the navigation once the user has clicked it, without the other navigation links bolding at the same time. Help! 🙂
