Hyperlink color in markdown blocks

Hi all, I have set a color for my hyperlinks in the Site Syles section but this color doesn't seem to translate to markdown blocks. I am using a markdown block for an expandable FAQ section and have included some hyperlinks. Unfortunately these links work but they are impossible to see as they remain the same color as the default font. Anyone know how I can have the same color for my hyperlinks in a markdown block?
